    Bolton v Oxford FINAL

All the websites have Jordan still playing for Oxford & don't mention the Codheads!

    Well done Neyo / Oxford

Congrats Neyo - you've always debated well, and given balanced views on here. You'll need to recruit well for next season in that tough league. Maybe starting with Neil Critchley 🤣

    Bolton v Oxford FINAL

A hard working Warrington lad - congratulations Dale. I don't subscribe to Sky, did our other Warrington lad Jordan Thorniley get on the pitch?

    Bolton v Oxford FINAL

No lover of Bolton, but Evvo is a BFC legend - so through gritted teeth ..... it's Bolton for me.

    Jordan Rhodes

He's a good professional, but I'd sooner we spend our limited budget on a tough, physical & nasty forward (don't ask me who though!).

    Fury vs Usyk

I used to follow every fight on tv and stayed up all night to watch some, especially Barry McGuigan and all the 80's middleweights. Not anymore, as it's been ruined by obscene money, fighting in arab countries & terrible sportsmanship. I did enjoy the recent Shane / Barry McGuigan series though...

No more Lee and Jane videos.

LOL brilliant old Lancashire saying that. It brought back memories of my childhood, when neighbours got called that for sticking their noses in someone else's business. Lee & Jayne are two great Seasiders, who've provided great insight and entertainment. I hope you're staying friends - good luck...

    WAGNER /

Clubs with serious ambition are ruthless. But their managers are paid big money & compensated really well if they get sacked mid contract. Despite a very disappointing season, our manager is going nowhere and we're resigned to that fact.

    Chris Basham

He's out to October at the earliest Alfie & then ... will he recover enough to play all season in a very busy L1? I like him but I think we need someone younger, with no injury record. - IF the money is there that is!

What enthralling friendlies have we got lined up?

When Big Sam was our manager we watched two great, feisty friendlies at Newcastle Town & Leek Town. I was as chuffed as a badger (as Ollie would say) to meet Sir Stan & get his autograph at Newcastle (sadly no mobile phone cameras then). John Hills & Marvin Bryan made their first appearances at...

    New sponsorship/ investment incoming?

Any sponsorship is most welcome. If, as a Preston based business, he becomes a sponsor at BFC, that will be a blow for the nobbers 🤣 However, I doubt we'll be challenging the Arab owned clubs (of bollywood Wrexham) any time soon!

    Speedy Apter

Brilliant to see Rob doing everything he can to improve his game and convince NC that he merits a place in our first 11. Good luck Rob, all BFC supporters are right behind you.

    Chris Basham

Bash has been a great pro and a very good footballer. However, at 35, with a recent bad injury, I really hope we sign far better in preparation for a serious attempt at automatic promotion. We have to avoid signing low cost, aging players or we risk being the 'dads army' team of the L1 🤣

    Lavery to Stockport

Good luck to him wherever he goes. Stocky would be a good move for him.

Might Critch surprise us with his hated system?

Question: Might Critch surprise us with his hated system? Answer: NO - Unless we sign 10 new PL outfield players (Grimmy is Fine)

    Peter Clarke

I liked Peter as a player, as he always gave 100%, put his head in where it hurt & was a tough cookie. He started his career as a forward and if we were 1 down in the final minutes of a game we'd throw him up front. He did score 11 goals for us. The week before he left us, we were speaking to...

Best Bar in Blackpool to watch football

As he's a red manc (like my boring older brother) I hope he's sleeping in your garden shed 🤣 The Seasider side of our family hate that red shoite (because of my patronising brother, oh & brother in law) and we only watch them play in highlights, if we know they've lost! 🧡🍊

    Nob End Chairman statement...

Good post. They're also an established championship team, with a decent, albeit 2nd hand, training ground - how we'd love to achieve that!
