Totally agree @Athers - your Evatt's, Keogh's, Ferguson's and Morrison's are hard to find but we need one. Even watching the dressing room footage post-match makes you see how nicey nicey they all are.

According to a Gazette poll, Apter, Casey, Pennington, Grimshaw, Joseph, Carey Morgan and Gabriel are the 8 players fans want the club to build around. Few thoughts: On paper that's not actually a bad 8 but also shows we're another 8 short (whilst obviously we have other players available)...

So what sort of player/position is it ever unlikely that Critchley will sign. I'd say a Gary Brabin type midfield fighter.

At the same time you could say the players have let the manager down in a lot of games this season because the ‘genuine talent’ didn’t appear. I think there have been mistakes and poor performances on both sides this season.

I don't think we can just close our eyes and be blinkered to how bad he has been of late. I genuinely can't remember one good thing he did on Saturday.

Has no upper or lower body strength .. look at how strong some of their players were in comparison. If you are going to be selected for your height unless you can use that there is no point you being on the pitch.

We'd have embarrassed ourselves and Wycombe would have easily beaten us on a neutral pitch. Good Luck to them on Sunday.
