Agree, J Beesley seems a great lad but if we are a championship team in the making then we need a top centre forward. Signing him in the first place was strange but does show us where we are as a club in terms of player recruitment. Hopefully the new recruitment team are good at what they do...

Well I think there is something in that. Was the remit from SS to Critchley just keep us in league 1. The fact Critchley never once went to a conventional back four, which most people would have thought was at least worth a go, does make me wonder. Last season felt just a bit half hearted to me.
