Blackpool v Bristol Rovers Official Matchday Thread 23.12.23

Vicious corner in but Grimmy made a hash of that . Mindyou , who'd be a goalkeeper in half a gale

Jordan Rhodes physically could not have been offside there. Disgusting officiating again. Same every week. Football is getting worse and a waste of time.

Nothing happening down the left side, we always come inside and go across the pitch or backwards

It's been , overall , a very decent game to watch too . Dembele just so exciting plus he works damn hard off the ball to win it back , wants to take every free kick too. Obviously just loves his football
I'd say similar for Rhodes, Beesley and CJ has also been decent too . Lyons seems off it and Carey seems like he could go up a gear but ...doesn't .
1-1 very decent game and let's hope for a bit more fire in the belly from players and crowd second half .

If Gabriel and Lyons start then I can see us winning it, but not sure they will. Gabriel might not be fully match fit tbf but Lyons should definitely start
I sincerely hope your prediction is correct with regard to the latter, because, without him, I just feel it's pretty much a case of us being thrown to the lions ...

bright start, fantastic strike from norburn after a very good build up, but petered out after the equaliser, dembele on fire, but carey having to play very deep. connolly is being caught out too often and norburn defensively is being walked through in the middle he needs to learn how to stand up.

Some abysmal officiating again, if there are 22 players still on the field at the end ill be surprised.
