Well after that aberration I think a few people might feel differently.
UnacceptableWe can’t beat two mediocre teams. Depressing.
Still no.Well after that aberration I think a few people might feel differently.
SameI haven’t voted for him to go until today
No surprise from you. You just like to be different.Still no.
Form is really poor and needs to improve but not sure sacking him is the answer. Any suggestions we should get a new manager before the transfer window don’t make much sense to me as the club have shown nothing that shows they’d be prepared to work with a new manager when it comes to recruitment. We sacked Appleton last season and let big Mick get his players and that went well.
Critchley has a lot of questions to answer now and these types of performances away from home can’t continue. It’s inexcusable at this level and that’s down to him.
Oh! And the weather is as depressing as the team.We can’t beat two mediocre teams. Depressing.

Why would you want him to stay, bring in new players, get sacked, then a new manager comes in to work with players he doesn't even want?Still no.

Stubborn . Refuses to learn from his mistakes.Still no.

not get another payday then.Or maybe sadler can’t afford to sack him, unless there is a clause in his contractIf he had anything about him he'd make it easy and resign.
Really weird response. Just offering my opinion. As I’m allowed to do.No surprise from you. You just like to be different.
I don’t disagree with you on some of that I’m just trying to picture what happens next. Who do we get? Will the club have recruitment plans in place so that we’re not caught on our toes in January? Because we definitely need to improve the squad. Critchley is largely responsible but at the end of the day it’s largely the same squad as last season who were awful in the champ.Stubborn . Refuses to learn from his mistakes.
Team selections often beggar belief . Does that equate to another coaching badge or the sack ?
Ok. At the end of the day most of you jumping on this thread in delight have wanted him out since day 1 so it’s no surprise this is the standard of the debate.Still no????? You must be either related or retarded
Does it ** matter ! He's clueless, the second half of the Champ season told us that, PNE away ! I'd take you as our manager over Critchley and that really is saying something !I don’t disagree with you on some of that I’m just trying to picture what happens next. Who do we get? Although he wasn't my first choice, I was OK with the appointment. However, it hasn't worked and I do think that sacking him is the answer. If he's in charge on Monday it will be toxic. We should save him from that ordeal ...Ok. At the end of the day most of you jumping on this thread in delight have wanted him out since day 1 so it’s no surprise this is the standard of the debate.
as I said I’m not saying this is acceptable but once again… sacking the manager isn’t always the answer

Agreed a change of manager is less than ideal at this point . I just don’t see any future here for Critchley so give it Dobbie or Bowyer or both . Both have served the club well in different capacities , I feel both would relish the challenge and tbh I think either would be worth the risk . But would Sadler back them with money ? Is him being sacked really an inevitability? Especially if he’s properly backed in the January window? Why would you want him to stay, bring in new players, get sacked, then a new manager comes in to work with players he doesn't even want?
Please explain your rationale?
Can’t be Bowyer for me. Seems like a nice guy and did well for us last time but under very different circumstances.Agreed a change of manager is less than ideal at this point . Are the team not good enough or is it the manager that's not good enough? Both maybe?Agreed a change of manager is less than ideal at this point . Personally I think the manager is poor at getting the best out of a fairly good squad .Are the team not good enough or is it the manager that's not good enough? Both maybe?
Losing successive games to teams with dreadful current form gives me little hope of even mid table dreadfulness.I don’t want him sacked because of our home record and the fact it’s a long term appointment which is the right one, all things considered. The play offs are still easily possible despite this horrible week.
However, he needs to adapt and stop this predictable garbage away from home, which seems to be designed solely to give struggling teams 3 points!!
The players also need to take responsibility.
I agree, so Sadler doesn't really need to back a new manager financially, too much, to improve results.Personally I think the manager is poor at getting the best out of a fairly good squad .
He has shown his stubbornness, don’t expect changes to his predictable approach . For me the only hope would be a decent no 2 but , I suggest it is all too late .I don’t want him sacked because of our home record and the fact it’s a long term appointment which is the right one, all things considered. The play offs are still easily possible despite this horrible week.

Why back a dead horse? Critch has been using the same failed tactics and game plan since Calderwood let go of his hand and the thought of Simon giving him any money to play with makes me shudder? Is him being sacked really an inevitability? Especially if he’s properly backed in the January window?
Obviously no one wants to end up in the situation you’ve just described but there’s also plenty of other outcomes.
He’s stubborn and safe and that has to change. He’s learnt from mistakes before and I’d like to think after the last few away games he’ll learn again. Otherwise I’ll finally join the dark side and say we should probably replace him.
