In the running for the Accy job a little Dickie bird has told me.
You know this for definite? He may be the perfect assistant for Critch but one of them doesn’t want to work with the other.
Sooty, are you honestly suggesting that AVFTTers post hearsay and rumours without fact checkingYou know this for definite?
Its true .You know this for definite?
Dobs was asked if he would like to be involved under Critchley but he chose to go back the the development squad. You know this for definite?
Clueless idiotWe would be top of the league with Dobbie.
Thanks Nostradamus....infantile comment. We would be top of the league with Dobbie.
It was said somewhere that the job was not offered but talked about at the start of the season but one of them wasn’t keen on it.You know this for definite?
Dickie is now 90 & he's not as sharp as he once was. So I would take what he tells you with a pinch of saltIn the running for the Accy job a little Dickie bird has told me.
The Dickie off Patreon?!Dickie is now 90 & he's not as sharp as he once was. So I would take what he tells you with a pinch of salt
You regularly post some right stuff ATG, but for once I really think you are not far off with that.We would be top of the league with Dobbie.
Based on the teams performances under his short tenure as opposed to Critchleys tactics, I think your reaction is more fantasy than mine. I also didn't suggest that they would be top of the league either.Nothing at all to suggest we would be top of the league with Dobbie . Pure fantasy .
Never said you did . Ive not referred or replied to your post . Bizarre.Based on the teams performances under his short tenure as opposed to Critchleys tactics, I think your reaction is more fantasy than mine. I also didn't suggest that they would be top of the league either.
Your emoji suggests otherwiseNever said you did . Ive not referred or replied to your post . Bizarre.
In fairness your ‘reaction’ is the very definition of fantasy. The idea that Dobbie would have delivered better results exists purely in your own head and there’s nothing much to back up your fantasy.Based on the teams performances under his short tenure as opposed to Critchleys tactics, I think your reaction is more fantasy than mine. I also didn't suggest that they would be top of the league either.
Are you ATG's twinYou regularly post some right stuff ATG, but for once I really think you are not far off with that.
I think he would have had an ‘Olly’ type mentality and I genuinely think we would have been in the auto spots with this squad.
Just challenging the Dobbie top of the league narrative Mac .Good Lord the Critchley boot room boys are making a show of strength on this thread.
Just challenging the Dobbie top of the league narrative Mac .
Nothing to do with Critch .
He also wouldn’t be as high in the League or attracted some of the players who wanted to come to work with a top class coach.Well let's be honest.. Dobbie wouldn't play Connolly at left wing back. He wouldn't play Virtue at right wing back. He wouldn't play Kouassi upfront... Therefore he already would have a massive head start.
More like Nostril - AnusThanks Nostradamus....infantile comment.
And he might not be able to deal with the day to day of managementWell let's be honest.. Dobbie wouldn't play Connolly at left wing back. He wouldn't play Virtue at right wing back. He wouldn't play Kouassi upfront... Therefore he already would have a massive head start.
Virtue and Kouassi have hardly played ATG. Not many starts .Well let's be honest.. Dobbie wouldn't play Connolly at left wing back. He wouldn't play Virtue at right wing back. He wouldn't play Kouassi upfront... Therefore he already would have a massive head start.
Would Brest have trusted us with Dembele ?He also wouldn’t be as high in the League or attracted some of the players who wanted to come to work with a top class coach.
Would Brest have trusted us with Dembele ?
Was Dembele attracted to the fact that NC has a track record of having developed current Premier League stars ?
Or would he have just gone anywhere to get a game ? Doubt it .
Agree with Angel
Would Dobbie have got the best out of Dembele....?
Celtic let his contract run out and leave the club at 19 after playing 8 games and scoring 1 goal
Brest let him play 16 times and then let him leave on loan....Maybe because his contract finishes in July of this year
Now.....how many clubs will be calling him and offering a contract....but in reality, it's Critch that's got the best out of the lad and is developing him.
Don’t be ridiculousI'd imagine that Dembele didn't have a fecking clue who Critchley was before he came.
Don’t be ridiculous
Of course he would ffs… He’s been on Celtic’s books as a Junior since 2013, during which time Critchley’s been involved in Youth football at Liverpool…. He’s have to have spent his career with his head up his backside not to know who Critchley is… You’re just assuming the fact that you hadn’t heard of him means that those within the game won’t have….He certainly wouldn't have had a clue who he was before the move was muted.
Those involved in the move might have used Critch's involvement as a positive.
I have nothing against Critch, he did very well with us first time round and clearly left us in a far better position than the one he inherited and I think the criticism he received was ridiculous but his record since is questionable.
He's hardly the Messiah and let's be honest about things there are not too many young players dreaming of playing under him, that is not to say that he is not a capable coach.

Critchley made it clear when he arrived that he’d taken a keen interest in KD’s progress and the two will have come into regular contact.
His record isn’t remotely ‘questionable’ either really… The reaction from our supporters to his record is certainly questionable though… or ‘Smacked Arse’ to put it more accurately.
Based on what exactly?I will throw this in. We would be in a relegation battle with Dobs in charge.

Yes… I’d expect any player who’s spent any time in youth football at a decent level over the last decade will be well aware of who NC is.If you were to go to Lennoxtown tomorrow and ask all the young players in Celtic's youth/development squad who Neil Critchley was, do you think they'd know.
I'd suggest 2 or 3 of them - at the very most - would know, the young foreigners wouldn't have a clue.
