No Home advantage at the moment?

Is one of our problems at the moment that we have no home advantage because the vast majority of our players don't know Bloomfield Road or are used to playing there? They seem a lot more comfortable on the road and if you think we should have got something, if not wins, at Plymouth and Gillingham, it'll be interesting to see if three games at BR under our belts will finally give us some sort of home advantage on Tuesday?

BFC76, I have just posted on another thread that I feel we will get 6 points this week👍
I do wonder how much the absence of crowds affects a teams' performance.
It must have a certain degree of negative impact.

I think with the attacking style of play we have adopted that a full house at Bloomfield Road would really benefit this team. Not likely anytime soon sadly but a nice thought!

Inevitable really when you have so many new players that a 'home game isn't really a home game' - I think it's one of the reasons why we did so well when Ollie came in that the group of players and the fans new each other and with a few additions and a gentle tweak we made BR a fortress. I think that will take some time under the current regime.

It's the same for all teams. The players just have to get on with it. In most games the better side or team with the best end product take the spoils. Pool need to be more solid and retain their shape particularly when being countered.

Interesting to think how crowds would be effecting results. You can guarantee some would have boo'd and abused the players after the Ipswich game, which I doubt would have helped future results. But who is to say that result would have been the same if we were all in the ground, the North in full voice?

Our only win this season is when we had 1,000 fans in the ground.

I actually think it's worked in our favour as can't imagine the atmosphere at the Ipswich game would have been good for a young, developing squad. Happy to let the side settle in before we all head back.

Not sure we should have got something at Gillingham. We were beyond shit that day.
