Well done lads battling performance with 9 men and a bent ref

Actually proud of that 2nd half

In 6 months time we will be looking back saying the season changed at Wimbledon away

Critch will stay as the board have backed him, not a chance he will go

Nice to see some fire in the belly

Totally agree with Phil.
We played well, given the circumstances, and the Dons manager was the uneasiest of the 2 tonight, believe me.
Sick of reading so many negative posts from SO CALLED Blackpool fans on here, the Critchley out brigade, lily-livered pathetic spineless weaklings who demand instant success, like any league or play-off place was ever won in October??? I don't think so.

Hang your heads in shame you morbid tosspots. Get behind your club or get the fuck out of here.

Great post. Especially the use of “weaklings”.

Looked to me like they decided to jettison Coach Critchleys method and do their own thing with 9 men. I think he’s lost them.
You've got nothing better to do. Obviously. Quit with your agenda-driven bullshit and grow a pair.

I said similar after the Crewe game.

There’s not much you can do to be fair at 9 men you might as well just launch it, similarly to most of the previous matches.

The fact we constantly get sendings off shows there’s no leadership in the side.

It would be crazy to sack him now
We are doing this the Critchley way for now - he has got a brand new squad and we have played only 9 league games so far.
Give this experiment a proper chance to work and if he has to go after that he has to go.
We cannot replace this set of players in the next transfer window, hopefully they are fast learners.

The only agenda I have is success at BFC. The only bollocks is Coming from you RONJI
Well you're not showing your allegiance by fabricating bullshit about NC 'losing' the players. The 9 men tonight played like 12 men for the last 15 minutes and a draw wouldn't have been undeserved .

I’m sure you were saying the same whilst Muggers and Wor Lee were stinking the managers office out. You seem to have a problem dealing with reality. It’s my opinion I think he’s lost the players, and it’s your opinion he hasn’t. Neither of our opinions count for owt. Stop taking yourself and this board so seriously and lighten up.

Ron ask yourself this? Why do we look better in dire situations we’ve manufactured for ourself?

Credit to the 9 lads out there for the bit of fight and passion they showed.

It was off their own backs though, a bit of professional pride.

They currently appear to be lions lead by a donkey.

Bang on the money. I messaged son in law pretty much the same thing.

RONJI...I get you’re hurting but lashing out at fellow fans and their ‘lack of allegiance’ isn’t going to do your health any good. Those voicing opinions of concern and commenting on the dire current situation aren’t PNE supporters on manoeuvres nor have we a lack of allegiance.

Ive not even voted on the in or out thread as it’s still too early to do so. But I do think it’s going to end badly for The Coach.

They were unlucky not to come out with something from that tonight, they played for each other second half. I wouldn't mind betting the 2 red cards will be rescinded too, which will go to show what a damaging effect shit officials can have on a game.

However, with 11 men we just weren't very good and that is a real worry, and we seem to not be improving so after 9 games you would be hoping we would. I don't think you can just gloss over it and say it will all be fine, it may well be, I hope it is, but another 9 games like this and serious questions will have to be asked. We need to see some improvement, we have to see how good his coaching abilities are, like I say, he can have all the qualifications in the world on paper, it means Jack shit when it really matters if you can't transfer those skills into the heat of battle. Personally I'm not seeing it yet but there is still time but how much time, who knows?

Agreed . Let's start with 9 men.

Before these three games after Charlton I posted we needed six points from them half way there so bring on Saturday but NC is living on a tight rope.

We looked better when we stopped playing the over complicated keep ball football and resorted to the old Wimbledon, hoof the bastard forward.
Not saying it's the way to go, just saying things improved when we stopped playing in the style of NC.

i think it is much easier to play with your backs against the wall, or at least it is easier to appear to be playing well when you in a sh1t situation and are throwing yourself at every ball. a little bit of that in every game would not go amiss however.

It all looked so good in pre-season, and the first few games there seemed to be a plan. saturday against Roundabout FC we were truly abysmal, and in all honesty we have been building to that position for a couple of weeks. i have no idea what the answer is, but sacking the manager after ten games im sure isnt the answer.

On the front foot passing and pressing and controlling the game is what the salesman said. Blackpool trading standards are investigating surely?

How are the two reds going to be rescinded this ain't the PL with a million camera's and the second one was off the ball .

I agree with what you say mate.

But personally I feel he isn’t up to managing at this level of football.

I generally don’t like the short term nature of football but if we re rock bottom in 4 - 6 weeks it could make eventually staying up a much harder task.

I think NC is struggling big time and hasn’t got the personality, nouse or experience to get out of this mess.

In a way it reminds me of Carlisle away in 2006 where we slaughtered them but lost. Grayson was on his last chance saloon the following week against Orient, we won and we know the rest.

The difference is though, we are not creating enough chances. That Mitchell chance near the end came from a mistake and apart from Hamilton late on there was nothing else.

We don't have a leader on the pitch or on the sidelines. Inexperience all over the club. Players stepping up from Under 23 level or League Two isn't going to cut it. That's clear now.

And that's why NC should have brought in an experienced number 2 not his assistant at U23 level.

It's a very positive rallying cry in the o/p by Phil who clearly is finding Welsh lockdown suits him with his new found positivity.
What happened to Owain GrimDour. 😉
I'd absolutely love him to be right.

How often are we allowed to say this?

trying to stay positive, but its difficult. first half tonight was pedestrian when we had possession, and a awful lot of long balls. its not that playing decent football in L1 doesnt pay dividends, under ince, mugdonald, and a few others including under grayson we played defensive and ugly all the time and teams would be showing us up and we were flattered with mid table finishes. It might take just one player in to be the pivot to a change, just dont know who that is.

Again mostly agree,

but where I’ll disagree is I don’t think any one player just dropped in this system and style will do anything. I think we’ve already tried that and it hasn’t worked out.

I honestly feel we need a big overhaul even at this stage to save the season.

Madine missed a sitter early on and I'm still not sure why our goal was disallowed. They go in and it's a completely different game.

im not sure its a player we have seen so far this year, there needs to be a focal point to the team, maybe a more mature player, i think most would say a charlie adam, but personally i would say a GTF, or even a keith southern. Someone with a bit of nous on the pitch, to calm them down or gee them up when needed
