Agreed but I think with De Bruynes injury we will see him and Gundogan play the main role for the next month. I expect them both to get maximum game timeAgreed. He’s brilliant and it’s a shame he doesn’t get more game time at City.
Plus Henderson of course...Yeah Foden and Maddison are a cut above at the moment.
Yes. He's top, top draw. He should be a shoe - in for England for years to come, injuries and form permitting. I remember watching him in the under 17s(?)WC which England won. I remember thinking, this boy is a player.Yes for me. He's got the lot.

That's what strikes me. Cool under fire and always creative. Not a diver like Grealish. Needs to work on that hairdo thoughBest by a country mile. He would be forgiven for being a bit overwhelmed by his big name teammates but his composure is outstanding and he could easily become the biggest name of all
I hope Southgate doesn't squander the current pool of talent.Nope Grealish is the best. Foden and Maddison are both excellent though.
I'm afraid I'm not convinced by Rice at International level yet. Agree though, we are looking good going forward especially in the technical ability areas which is something we've struggled with for a long time. Defence still needs some work too.I hope Southgate doesn't squander the current pool of talent.
Choose 2 or 3 from Foden, Grealish, Maddison, Sterling, with Kane as a focal point, makes us very potent.
I think Rice is improving for the deeper midfield role and I think Barclay is looking good at Villa.
I'm sure we can put a half decent back 4 together out of what's available and stick Pope in goals.
Looking quite good, just not sure about the manager.
He didn't when he was in Iceland.Beside his great footballing ability he seems a level headed, down to earth lad.
Can see no reason he shouldn’t have a great England career.
True 20s but I don't think (hope, maybe) that he'll become a repeat offender in the halfwit stakes like Grealish. Football-wise I just think Foden has more to offer, particularly goals from midfield and is less lightweight than Grealish, who I agree is a fantastic talent though. He didn't when he was in Iceland.
Ha ha!Nope Grealish is the best. Foden and Maddison are both excellent though.
Grealish is currently a regular in the England team so that shows how much you know, which to be fair was never really much. You just fucked up with your statement that he's a Championship player at best. I take it you're on the pop again.Ha ha!
Grealish is a cheating, diving, Peaky Blinder wannabe show pony as you well know. Never an England player. Why do you think the top teams aren't interested and Gareth isn't convinced to play him?
That is probably the worst football related post I've ever read on here. If you have the slightest knowledge about football (which you obviously don't) you would realise that he (& Foden) are the most exciting and creative footballers England has had since Paul Gascoigne. Typical response from a jealous JockHa ha!

Looks a bit our of plaice, like a fish on a bike.He needs to pull his socks up and get a sensible haircut. It's a disgrace
The venerable King of Commentary would put that "young man" in his "plaice", no mistakeLooks a bit our of plaice, like a fish on a bike.

Stop doing down England players and the manager. You're always the sameI'm afraid I'm not convinced by Rice at International level yet. Agree. Mount is a "safe" player. Sterling is an interesting one. No doubt he's massively improved from the player that first burst onto the scene but I really do think that some of these current players we are talking about are way ahead of him technically.Foden should always be in the side ahead of Mount , Foden playing along side Grealish & Stirling with Kane as CF would be some attacking force !
Sorry Mark, I missed this post of yours as I first read the pile of bull that Mac had written.True 20s but I don't think (hope, maybe) that he'll become a repeat offender in the halfwit stakes like Grealish. Football-wise I just think Foden has more to offer, particularly goals from midfield and is less lightweight than Grealish, who I agree is a fantastic talent though.
Grealish and Foden would bring the best out of each other. One picks out and plays the pass, the other makes the run and provides the finish.Sorry Mark, I missed this post of yours as I first read the pile of bull that Mac had written.
Yep, I hope Foden has learned his lesson. Comparing them both at this point in time I think Grealish offers more to the team. He'll create more for others than Foden does. On the opposite side of the coin Foden knows where to be in and around the box. He's a good reader of what's gonna happen. He'll run beyond the front man and consequently he's likely to get more of the tap in type of goals. He's got a natural instinct of where to be. He's more of a forward than Grealish is. Grealish could play any midfield role which I don't think Foden could. Grealish wants to be involved in everything, he goes looking for the ball,, Foden will wait for himself to be brought into the game.
Fantastic footballer I think this guy will be the real deal.Yes for me. He's got the lot.
