The restaurant in question should never be allowed to reopen again pure greed.
And as for the fine it’s a piss take.

It was my other half’s 60th the first week of lockdown we would have loved to have gone out with Son/Daughter/Son in law/Grandson but being sensible people we celebrated it at home just the two of us like this silly bitch should have done.

Putting lives at risk by potentially spreading a deadly virus across numerous households is just so stupid and immature.

So if you know having a party with 30 or more is way beyond what is allowed but you go ahead anyway knowing that there is a significant risk of spreading the virus as these kind of indoor events probably lasting several hours with a large gathering are the worst possible scenario for this disease to spread and potentially to subsequently spread further and cause loss of life is acceptable if you then say " oh sorry ,I shouldn`t have done it."

She had the nerve to say she went on the spur of the moment. Really? Finding a restaurant who are prepared to the break the law by opening in a lockdown is done on a whim? And arranging 30 guests to travel in despite the restrictions just came about on the night? And she has the nerve to ‘offer’ to pay a fine as if she has any ** say in the matter!
Selfish behaviour and a two fingered salute to everyone else.

Anyway, I’m thinking of asking Gricey to open up the Armfield on Boxing Day for us to stream the game with a ‘few’ mates on the spur of a moment? 😀

I've had friend have 70th birthdays 50th birthdays and also some landmark wedding anniversaries but because I'm fortunate enough to be surrounded by honest law abiding folk with common sence they all realise that the time to celebrate these events is when the lock is lifted.

People that flaunt the rules and regulations need fining heavily.
Give the girl a break my arse, she knows what's going on and still chose to do what we've been told not to do totally irresponsible
 
This numpty has now owned up to going abroad to do a private concert and didn't bother isolating for two weeks on her return......had her party instead.
 
Claims to have paid a 10k fine but local council deny they’ve received it. Says she’ll give her Egypt fee to charity. Don’t hold your breath. As for making it up to NHS hope they turn her down. Once upon a time she’d have been castigated for her actions. Nowadays she’ll get away with it and even applauded by some.
 
Just on news feed that her team paid 5k for restaurant to break covid rules... Also asked for cctv to be switched off.. Hard drives were wiped 2 days later.....
