Neil Critchley my views from across the sea

Neil Critchley is doing a great job in my opinion, of course he will make a few mistakes he’s human and he’s learning

overall id definitely be sticking with him in the longterm

We still have games in hand and could make the play offs and go up and if we don’t?
So what I’d prefer to be promoted next season when we all are there to see in in person to celebrate together embrace the moment and have a wonderful memory.

Don’t get me wrong id jump at promotion this year too, this is just my views and im sure you all might see it differently

either way UTMP

Yep, totally agree.

I don't think he's doing a great job, I'd say that all things considered he is under achieving.
He continues to make mistakes that he should have learned from by now, and seems no closer to finding a settled team and formation than when we started the season.

He has to do better. I'm not expecting promotion this season, but I do think that genuine consistent progress on the field is not too much to expect from someone after 20 odd games given the backing he has had from the board. For every step forward we make we seem to then take another back.

The improvement we saw when we went on the impressive run seems to have regressed to back to where we were nearer the start of the season, despite having a stronger squad. This team has a lot of potential, we aren't seeing anywhere near enough of it yet at present.

6/10 - above average, just.

Good sum up.

For me he’s walked into a near perfect situation, we’re a unicorn in the football league at the moment.

I’m willing to give him the next 20 games to really learn about this league, for a consolidated promotion push next season. If things are exactly the same as this 12 months down the line from now, I think we’ll know the experiments failed.

What I don’t understand is the clamour for him to go now, when we potted Grayson in effect it set us back 12 months. We’d be doing exactly the same of he went before the end of the season.

Unfortunately, appointing the wrong man in Critchley has set us back a further 12 months at least.

Not necessarily.

The whole club had to start again once Grayson departed.

We’ve had to build a whole new squad on top of the old one.

Does he frustrated me, yes. Does he inspire me, no. Does he need one more window and most of a season with ‘his’ squad. Definitely.
