Play off final tickets ?

Assuming that we win the semis and season ticket holders get first dibs on the semi tickets, who gets first dibs on the final tickets ?

Steady on chaps, they will be printing directions to Wembley in Sunday’s Program next...

Talking of which, if, and I do mean a big if
A) we reach final
B) its at Wembley
C) fans are allowed

How will restrictions to coach travel apply, 52 seater coach but only 26 occupants, going to cost each passenger double. We could end up taking more coaches but less fans than we did against Cardiff.

Guessing same would apply to rail travel. I can’t imagine many are happy to drive themselves and passengers - well if you like a beer or three yourself you might not be!

STH would rightly get first dibs, but I wonder about STH's getting 2 tickets as some possibly don't go to games with another STH.

Early days yet though, so as Lena Martell might have penned: One Game At A Time Sweet Jesus.

It's a thought provoking question as when we did the Swindon game, those who got a ticket, were excluded from attending for the next game if we had been permitted one. So, in the balance of fair play, should attendees to the semi be excluded from the final ?

The LC final was official travel methods only bar a very few who were allowed to make their own way, I assume through justification.

Maybe from the 17th there are no restrictions on coaches 😉

WHAT 3 beers in that there Landan???? You need a mortgage adviser for that!!

This is not a conversation we should be having at this point in time. Remember the Bradford 2nd leg match program? That game cost us a trip to Wembley, cost allerdyce his job, and we’ve not stopped talking about it for 20 years!! If the Sunderland fans read this thread we’ll give them a right good laugh at our expense, especially if we get beat. So for the younger ones on here, patience is definitely a virtue in this respect 🤔. All in good time .....

That defeat at home 3 nil and what happened surrounding it will live with a lot of us forever. It was a disastrous night that should never have happened😫

Christ, these ticket thread are so needy and desperate. As usual, with basically any club in the country, season ticket holders will get priority.
I've put a hypothetical, assumed scenario out there and asked a question. Just goes to show how many people are incapable of reading a post. Needy and desperate, ha ha !

Agree. I was at those Bradford matches

That Bradford game was the worst ever. I remember reading thru the programme before kick off and wondering why on earth had they printed directions to Wembley, like it was just the next League game.

And when I got back to my car I, as with all the cars parked around me, had a flyer under the windscreen wiper offering coach travel to Wembley. Awful night.

On another note why would none season ticket holdrrs even think they would get priority over season ticket holders? Season ticket holders paid over the odds for a shite tv stream that even if they didn't want it had no choice in it. They invested in the club at a time of uncertainty and helped generate income for the club. Many choose not to.

Was looking for train times and fares just in case.. Doesn't appear to be any running from Blackpool to London that sunday

1st rule of AVFTT Bottle. Don't let too much reality interfere with a good thread.

Still can't believe we failed with that team.

Whatever happens I hope proper fans with or without season tickets get priority for the playoffs and not the clapstix brigade - however far we go.

Weren't you offered the option of a refund ?

No.
If games where lost we where to get an Ifollow stream no one thought when purchasing back in June that you wouldn't get to one single game.

I've been being paying £23.39(2 of us) while everyone else a tenner to watch BFC and if tickets are available for the semi's and IF the final became available I'd be really pissed off it I didn't get first dibs.

And let's be honest people like to talk the talk saying their paying while watching on IPTV the Sunderland game had 14,000 hits on one such illegal stream being an example.

Why would you even create this thread? Lets hope the club don't advertise coach travel in the programme😔

It’s too early to makes “concrete plans” if travel is difficult I’ll take/share a car probably with TAM.

“IF” we win the first leg of the “play off” & only “IF” I’ll make “Provisional Plans” for POULTON-LE-FYLDE SEASIDERS to run a coach. 🚌#88

Many choose not to buy a season ticket for several reasons. Some can't afford the upfront cost, some don't live in Blackpool so don't do home games regularly. Neither of these reasons should preclude them from being given an opportunity to attend the game, we are supporters too. Some seem to think that being a season ticket holder gives them some sort of ' Uber ' fan status, it doesn't and shouldn't. I must admit that I've never heard a ST holder explain that the reason for purchasing a ST was to save a few quid, it's always I'm helping the club !

So your suggesting priority should be given to non season ticket holders? What would the criteria be?

You can't expect the club to have a policy for each individual set of circumstances. Every club rewards STs for putting their money in up front in ordinary seasons. This season wasn't ordinary at all, and a lot of ST's gave up money owed them from the year before.

I'd give them all two tickets each, tbh, and the rest of the support can bid for the rest. You look after the people you know you can count on.

It's an awkward one due to the pandemic. I think that ST holders should be given first dibs for the semi as they've had very little for their money this season. However, if we get to the final I think that you choose names randomly from the home and away databases so all supporters have an equal chance of attending. I always hated the band A status that the stains employed and firmly believe that there should be no preferential treatment. The only benefit of buying a ST should be the discounted price that you pay for it imo.

That was thier/your choice not to purchase The fact remains those that did should and will get priority.

It also makes me laugh how now we're doing well none season ticket holders are banging on about how much they have spent.... Forgetting that if we were 23rd in the league they'd have not paid for ifollow (or attended matches in a normal season) from xmas for the rest of the season.
Some would call them glory supporters
Whereas season ticket holders have paid upfront no matter how the team do.

Interesting fact: this game never actually happened. I know that because my psychiatrist told me, and he's never lied to me.

He also told me that John O'Kane had never played for the club.
Has he mentioned Tony Diamond,?

Yeh, well done them😘

Bloody hell, you're getting on a bit of a high horse here and slagging off your own fans. So everyone who doesn't buy a season ticket is a glory supporter because in some hypothetical situation you've created they'd all stop watching if we were doing shit, and we're all only watching because its going well? Christ..

Paying upfront makes you a better supporter apparently, who knew? Fair enough if you think Season Ticket holders should get priority (something I completely agree with, and will almost definitely happen) but this stance you're taking is a bit of an odd one. Labelling every Blackpool fan outside of the 4k who have a season ticket glory supporters, we must have a terrible fanbase then 😂

They will get priority no doubt, I'd strongly disagree that they 'should'. Supporters buy season tickets to get a discounted rate and a preferential place in the queue for the bigger games. All this bollocks about helping the club, is exactly that, bollocks !

Fine, no one get a season ticket then, then we can all be super fans.

We are ALL BFC supporters, STHs or not.
However, you can't expect the Club to start to single out Non STHs as a separate entity.
Unfortunately for some, STHs will get first choice.
There's no doubt that some STHs won't go to the Final (if we get there) so there will be spare tickets.
If we get 10,000 tickets, take out the STHs quota and there will still be enough to go round for Non SThs who are
fairly regular attendees. The rest have to wait for what's left.
The time schedule will be very short and I don't envy the club in trying to sort this out quickly..
