I’ve been to watch a couple of 6 Nation games in Rome and the fans and players are pumped up to fcuk singing their National anthem good job they’re shite at rugby! That Italian national anthem is a good one, players look a bit more pumped than ours do with our tune.
They’d be better singing the anthem and then leaving the stadium to hit the bars insteadI’ve been to watch a couple of 6 Nation games in Rome and the fans and players are pumped up to fcuk singing their National anthem good job they’re shite at rugby!
That’s the best six nation away game by far, I have been a good few times as well, and I have been fortunate to have done them all at some point.I’ve been to watch a couple of 6 Nation games in Rome and the fans and players are pumped up to fcuk singing their National anthem good job they’re shite at rugby!
Funny that ChunkyThey’d be better singing the anthem and then leaving the stadium to hit the bars instead
The best without doubt S1 absolutely love Rome fantastic city! That’s the best six nation away game by far, I have been a good few times as well, and I have been fortunate to have done them all at some point.
Just having some Sun in Feb or March was amazing - although I remember one year that they had to shovel tons of snow off the pitch, but in the Sun it was lovely.
Robot wars! Where is Sargeant Bash when you need himBloody radio controlled car bringing the match ball on.
Pray to God they don’t have a bigger one with a stretcher on.
They've got thousands of Turks in.Who's booing thought it was being played in Rome they got thousands of Turks in?
I thought the exact same thing especially as they’re playing at home and there is no colour clash, sponsors maybe? Why are the Azzuri not wearing azzuro?
Well Turkey beat France 2-0 and let in three goals in ten games, so probably yeah.Could Blackpool beat Turkey
Totally agree!!The best without doubt S1 absolutely love Rome fantastic city!
Never been to the Stadio Olimpico but that sounds frightening and remember watching it on the TV. The rugby matches l went to were at Stadio Flaminio great stadium for rugby.Totally agree!!
Although I have just been talking to mates in a whatsapp group and I have been to this stadium a few times - however, the worst football violence I have ever seen, happened at the Olympico in Rome when England where there in 97 and it was 0-0.
I don’t scare that easy, but I was shitting myself that evening with what was going on.
FRIGHTENING!!!
The two to three hour lock-in after the game didn’t help either!
Fantastic stadium for Rugby and agree, although (and I could be wrong) they played the Rugby at the Olympico once or twiceNever been to the Stadio Olimpico but that sounds frightening and remember watching it on the TV. The rugby matches l went to were at Stadio Flaminio great stadium for rugby.
Still cater for black and white TV. Red and dark blue have no contrast.I thought the exact same thing especially as they’re playing at home and there is no colour clash, sponsors maybe?

BUT my memory may be playing tricks as I get older
Turkey could have played in white and Italy in their traditional blue as the home team (l assume), don’t forget most on this board must have watched Pot Black in black and white (apologies to the Woke community for this)Still cater for black and white TV. Red and dark blue have no contrast.
It’s been a while since I have been to be fair, but Rome is amazingFrom Wikipedia re Stadio Flaminio:
It was the home of Italy rugby union national team for Six Nations tournament home matches from Italy's entry in the competition in 2000 until 2011.
The Italian Rugby Federation (FIR) announced, in January 2010, that the stadium would undergo an expansion, that will increase its capacity to 42,000, before the 2012 Six Nations Championship.[4] A failure to progress these plans has been cited as the reason for moving Italy's home Six Nations games from 2012.
Thanks for that didn’t notice that but sounds rightSays Turkey v Italy in the top left hand corner so the team on the left are classed as the home team. New set of Puma kits to sell for Italy as well.
And wants to look like Barry GibbThe half time punditry reminded me that Robbie Savage is a right old brainless kahoont
