A manager who talks like that is mentally weak.McDonald is an interesting one, was doing great while on loan but then lost his place with Hill indicating he was a group of players he felt were mentally weak and not up to a promotion push
Hi all,
First up congratulations on your promotion!
Few (very small) rumours we may be after both Nuttall and Lubala on loan next season
Lubala was very good for Crawley when I saw him so surprised with that one if there is any truth in it
They are unlikely to get a better coaching team than ours right now. If anyone can sort young lads like them two out, it's our fella. I suspect the problems with both players are not football related. Indications are that that is the case.Just my opinion but I think both have talent, but neither has demonstrated at Blackpool the attitude or mental strength to succeed. But they could both be good players in the right environment and under the right coaching team. Some players work at some clubs and not others, and i'd class these two as those kind of players, rather than just being bad. Particularly in league two, they could find it easier to get their confidence and belief in themselves back.
Feeneys problem is that he doesn't look up before he crosses he bangs it in and hopes for the bestThanks,
A loan move for both may be good moves for them then
Surprised we have kept Feeney on btw, started slowly then hit a good patch but the last 1/3rd of the season he was awful to be honest, hitting corners and free kicks continually over everyone etc
Spearing on the other hand I criticised at the start of the season but by the end he was arguably player of the season
McDonald is an interesting one, was doing great while on loan but then lost his place with Hill indicating he was a group of players he felt were mentally weak and not up to a promotion push
I believe he's now working in a circus in France as a contortionist.Feeneys problem is that he doesn't look up before he crosses he bangs it in and hopes for the best
Gnando fortunately found a way of getting his head onto them
However Critch has already shown his opinion of JN sending him to the cobblers. They are unlikely to get a better coaching team than ours right now. It's the forwards job to read the cross and it's the winger's job to a) cross it (rough;ly into the right zone) andFeeneys problem is that he doesn't look up before he crosses he bangs it in and hopes for the best

Exactly. Critch hasn't so far shown any confidence in their readiness for being in our squad, and we have just gone up a division too. However Critch has already shown his opinion of JN sending him to the cobblers.
IMO he would have to have some pre season to figure in a tangerine shirt again.
