660 Parties shut down

Greater Manchester Police has warned people not to breach lockdown rules over Easter after it had to break up 660 parties last weekend.
Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said "each and every one of us need take this seriously".
There were 1,132 coronavirus-related breaches reported between Saturday and Tuesday, the force said.
That included 494 house parties - some with DJs, fireworks and bouncy castles - and 166 street parties.
One woman in Bury became the first person in Greater Manchester to be charged under the Coronavirus Act 2020 after police had to repeatedly shut down one of the parties.
Greater Manchester Police also had to deal with 122 different groups gathering to play sports, 173 more gatherings in parks and 112 incidents of anti-social behaviour and public disorder.
 
And that was last weekend which doesn’t bode well for the Easter period where I'm sure the idiots will be out in there numbers👎

It would be quite easy to make up a lie that you have had to send police in to disperse fictional gatherings.

Buys time for you to keep people in lockdown or worse.
 
Should all be rounded up and put to work across the country over the Easter weekend on Covid-19 isolation wards without any PPE at all.

The message might get through to some.
 
It's also the reason that videos by the likes of David Icke, saying the virus doesn't exist, are banned from youtube. We don't need even more dickheads thinking there's nothing to worry about.
 
I was at the traffic lights outside Wilkinson in town yesterday. Two guys across the road from each say 'h,i haven't seen you in a while' cross the road and shake hands then separate two meters. You can't cure stupid
 
Just read this on the news, it is staggering, the scale and type of gatherings.

I can only say that the vast majority of Mancs are doing the right thing. I’m SW of the city and it’s like a ghost town. Roads are very quiet, lovely parks are being used only for short permitted exercise, and social distancing is clearly evident.

I’ve no doubt most of these clowns have no respect for any rule of law, and for some the whole experience is a long holiday. Selfish in the extreme, but Police need to get tougher and use their powers fully. If they don’t we’ll all be impacted by tougher measures.

These idiots action could result in the daily exercise regime being withdrawn.

There really are some thick, selfish & stupid people it makes you wonder how they manage to remember how to breathe.
 
Happened on Sunday night near us, sounded like a bunch of teenagers partying , started at tea time and going well into early hours, music stopped when I got up at 7, but still out chatting when I got up. So many selfish people where ever you go, these people should think about there own family members and others.
