Blackpool v Derby County Official Matchday Thread 30.04.22

Some nice play by Pool but final third problems currently rearing their ugly head. Sort that out and we are confirmed play offs next season.

Had we scored the pen we would be 11th and could end up 10th, I hope we win this, 10th place if we could make it would be a fantastic achievement in our first season back in the Championship.

Kirk has had a good half, he can really cross a ball and we have been strong down the left side but we have been weak on the right side, CJ and Connolly don't work together and Anderson has had another shocker.

We’re playing like we don’t care about the result. There’s still plenty to play for being ahead of the Nobel’s for starters.
Come on lads we def need to do better second half

Sounds shit & to think I actually considered coming away from a break in the lakes to watch the last home game. But decided not to bother.

Best away support all season.
Blackpool punished yet again for ** about when in a position to shoot.

Lacklustre at best

Shite defending but more concerning how utterly toothless we are going forward. Piss poor and not a substitute in sight
2 defensive subs for injury sadly. We are very weak on the right side and I'm not convinced about Lavery, I'd have Yates in front of him every week. We really miss Marv too and Husband, they are both important players for us. Why won't he play Jerry from the start? Anderson and CJ aren't good enough.
