Season ticket sales thus far

Nobbers will sell more because they believe in the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ almighty and have the capacity to offer cheaper tickets. Regardless, it will still be a soulless hole that will quickly turn to boos when they finally realise Ridsdale has pulled their pants down and Lowe is a complete fraud. The more they bull themselves up now, is going to make the inevitable fall even more amusing. No Archer, Iverson, or Batttenburg, plus a raft of players out of contract will mean a new squad of cheap replacements so they can try and make the books a little more attractive for some mug that may actually express an interest in their club.
Plus the unknown factor of God knows who taking them over. Could easily turn to shit.

I remember when the Oystons made season tickets cheap. It increased crowds - we averaged over 14k that season. But the policy was a substitute for a decent team. For me, it can be a warning sign that the board isn't confident that the team itself will be attracting fans to the ground due to its success on the pitch.
Think we finished 20th that year, and rock bottom the year after
It'll all depend on how much the owners are willing to invest. But the fact is that next season, if PNE sold 10,000 season tickets we would only need to sell 7,600 to bring in more money.

🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡

You are funny, out of contract players aren't employed by the club. That's what out of contract means, they're unemployed and not with any club.

You lot are so entertaining. 😂

Has Bowler gone yet?
Not yet, or you probably would have seen an article or thread titled Bowler has gone and be posting there with your top banter....

Bloody hell…. Smashing the ticket sales. Sold more than PKE and their freebies they’ve been handing out
Was obvious who you were with a history like that....Didn't think there would be someone so stupid to take the count I did that way and saw this the other day anyway.

@Wizaard rumbled him as well on another thread, so obvious he then had to out himself....

How sad to go undercover, every post about PNE was a bit of a giveaway.

What a loser. 😂

Waheyyyyy, nah I just came across to witness the delusion on this forum first hand
But ironically caused your own forum to think we're delusional because of your wind up post.

Most aren't delusional, pretty level headed, but you're always going to see some silly things said about rivals, exaggerations, same on your site. You lot make out it's only 1 way.

After years of having a half empty stadium the PKE board has discovered the wisdom to reduce season ticket prices and push them like mad. Crazy to have so many empty seats. It was their encounter with us at Bloomfield Rd that has prompted this change of tack, surely. Seeing a full stadium making loads of noise, fans who are animated rather than drained by tears of tedium. Shocked and embarrassed into a response which began with cheap tickets for the return game and a pretty childish away allocation war to fire up their supporters.

It's a real pity we can't price our tickets the same way, our capacity and the east stand logistics make it impossible really. It'll be interesting to see if their attendances rise, or whether there will simply be more ST holders and fewer match ticket buyers, resulting in reduced income. Match tickets have gone up to £28 I believe.

You have a tiny stadium that’s why…. If we played in your ground we would practically fill it each week similar to yourselves
Clearly not great with statistics are you, considering we average basically identical as you did. Not sure tiny stadium and only being around 5-6k more than ours is much to go on about.

You are an absolutely nothing football club. In the worlds of Readings and MKDs. Zero atmosphere. Dogshit away day. Awful away attendances generally bar maybe the odd trip to Blackburn.

You are literally a club waiting to get relegated, hopefully this season when the Lowe train derails around October and the boos ring around Deepdale. It genuinely is the most wank stadium at Championship level. Absolutely zero character or atmosphere. Delusion is only at one end of the M55 and it isn't the tower side.

Yours is too big obviously. Always has been.

At least you worship our manager anyway, so you're not wrong about everything.

So you aren't giving under 11s away for free? You are. How many of them do you think there is?
They have to go with a adult .
It’s The future of the club what does it matter if it’s free or £40 it’s getting them interested in pne not Liverpool or city we have the room .
We are doing something really special this season.1st signing tomorrow

Well done, thats the minimum target you'd want hit at that price point and with under 11s free included in the total.

The big question you should ask yourself is
why aren't doing something like this .
It won’t finish at 10,000 probably 11,000 or a lot more.
There was a chap saying he hadn’t been on deepdale for about 20 years he bought 2 adult & a youth one isn’t that brilliant.

I've said I like the lower price strategy but only it doesn't leave the club way short of revenue, which at current sales yours will be doing.

What was he doing on Deepdale, bit dangerous, didn't think you were allowed up there.

I've said before its a good way to build the fanbase, but you at least have to accept there will be quite a lot in that under 11 category going for nowt.

Also ask yourself why you didn't do it last season, season before etc.

That's right. He was probably going 'on deepdale' because he'd had enough after twenty years of shite. Poor fella.

What would you consider worth while you lot didn’t think we would sell 9,000 & 10.000
I would guess it could be over 11,000 by sat at least & 13,000 or more by start of season .
Only 5 blocks in the whole stadium not turned red .
You can twist it how you want it’s been brilliant there is a real buzz about .
1st signing to be announced tomorrow.

Of course there's a buzz about Deepdale - it's pre-season. It's the other nine months that seem to put a downer on the year.

There's a buzz because your not playing. You'll turn on them quickly enough when you realise it's going to be another season not making it to the Premier League. So predictable.

Part 2 of 'they don't know they're deluded'...

20220601_102616.jpg

Yet other pne fans felt the need to praise the noise. Why would they do that?

20220601_102549.jpg

They can't seem to understand we sold over 8k last season and are tracking ahead of that so far. But we'll be lucky to hit 7 or 8? 7k really... he even says later we can't accept we've been smashed in sales, despite us having until the 30th June for our early bird period 🤡Smashed in sales when the counts aren't in and one club has gone dirt cheap....

20220601_180929.jpg

But this guy has to win weirdo of the week, not only does he set up a strawman argument that no-one here suggested. All thats been said is it is to be factored in, not that they have suddenly only sold 6k...

Sets up a false argument and then uses it to claim we're weridos 🤡

But the best bit is what he posted a few weeks ago...

20220601_181053.jpg

Double? We sold 8k last season so that'll be 16k for them to hit, we'll probably get more this season.

Somehow I dont see them hitting 17k+

What a numpty. 😂

I wasn't sure but as soon as it said you still had a decent chunk to renew it was clear.

Yeah a low price strategy can create a buzz, I've said it many times and wished we'd done a bit more. But we also don't have all the space yet.

But I still think it'll lose money around current levels.

Not sure if you'll get that many after the deadline.

You aren't renowned for doing well under bigger crowds.... be a real shame if that happened.

The Nobbers were shocked when they heard the Bloomfield noise on their last visit. Obviously Ridsdale wants to copy us and get rid of the Dumpdale morgue atmosphere. Hey presto we will give free tickets away to under 11s. Clutching at straws the deluded fools.

The single and only time the Preston fans made noise at their home game was around 90 minutes, absolutely anonymous prior to that.

Thick and absolutely beyond delusional. I fancy them to get relegated next season, you can't get loanees right every time. And that coupled with Derby was why they didn't go down.

They go on about how good that Riis is, if he was any good, he wouldn't be at Preston. He'd be at a big club or on his way.

I'm not sure why anybody would want to be critical of the Preston ticket sales and policy

Free kids and cheap tickers, whats not to like about that?

Football is generally too expensive in this country and if a club is trying to do something to break the mold surely they should be applauded for it

Even if it is the bastards from down the road

Pity your season will be over before the clocks go back and they've still got those damned tickets.

Because we aren't ridiculously desperate?

We aren't watching all of the clubs around us get to the Premier League? Even Wigan are going to over take you soon. Empty nothing football club. You could have 22k season ticket holders and you'd still be stuck mid table in the Championship. You're a club waiting to get relegated with an owner who clearly isn't that arsed. You cling onto the failures and the only wins you have are tiny in reality.

Nothing is happening at Preston North End no matter how desperate you are to try and tell us there is. We all saw it. Empty seats at a derby, lack of atmosphere. It doesn't mean anything to be a Preston fan.

If you priced season tickets averagely then you'd be no where near 10k. So that's about the only good thing I can say about your club?
