Rosenior turned us down

It seems like this is a shit show (and to be fair it is), but it hasn't been caused by the club, the only information we've heard has been from outside of the club.

It could very well be that Rosenior's team was leaking information to the press that the job was his when it wasn't.

I’d imagine the information might come from a range of potential sources.

Realistically speaking, you’re not going to go any significant length of time without bits of valid and some not so valid info reaching the press.

Hopefully it will all be resolved fairly quickly and we can move on.

Someone is lying and I honestly can't see it being the club, why on earth would they come out and say he hasn't been offered the job if they offered him the job?

Appleton’s Tangerine Arm…. Can’t be arsed. The bubble might have burst for us right now. There’s no feel good factor appointing him. He’ll need to make some cracking signings and get results fast.
he would have albeit underwhelming support it could turn sour quickly if results didn’t go well

Surprised they are pursuing him - sounds a bit of a big time Charlie who wants it handed on a plate!

If this is true then something smells off. Is there more to Critchleys departure than just having his head turned. Budget etc - The timing would certainly fit. Then Rosenior also having reservations over budget and squad strength. As for training ground we can’t be doing any more than we are and atheist whoever is coming in knows SQ is just temporary. I’m sure if they need better facilities during the winter the club has been accommodating in the past by renting out local training pitches

FFS this is our club, why are so many people so quick to criticise and moan about how we are being run. If LR doesn't like the offer and doesn't want the job, we accept it and move on. We can't be held to ransom by someone if (and I say if, as we don't even know this is true) they need a bigger budget than we can offer. It will only end in tears if someone joins with unrealistic expectations, so we find someone who is the right fit for the club in its current position. We are a growing club and should be excited by the journey, but this isn't good enough for too many on here. If potential managers need a bigger budget then we can offer, f**k them, as they aren't the right person for us. We need someone with enough confidence in their own ability that they can work with what we have to offer. Otherwise why should we have confidence and belief in them?

Sorry, rant over

So tonight the club has denied offering the job to Rosenior and the gazette says an announcement imminent. Sounds like it won't be Rosenior then or else why deny you've offered it him? Sounds like we might know tomorrow...

Its like we like you Liam and you might be ace for us,

However lets show you round the training ground and and stuff

Got big plans and all but will be a few years so it is what it is at The Gate with the bins and the cabins

Squad is ok but a few of the better lads might be leaving and we don't really have the cash to improve the team until we sell a few

Still fancy it ?

Liam "Will let you know"

Ben " i may know a bloke through me agent anyway"

Crack on ........

Funny thing even though it sounds like that, if a betting market reopened id lump my money on Rosenior again, especially if the Board read how popular he seems on this site

If this is correct, that there are talks on budget and facilities, then it makes me want him more as manager. This is surely what we want, a manager already looking ahead, not just signing for the job. We need a manager to push the boundaries.

Not fussed one way or the other. The vast majority of had never heard of him three weeks ago
I’d never heard of him but if you watch the interview with him oh Barry Barry posted on here a couple of days ago I think you’ll change your mind, especially taking into account the other names mentioned for the job

Whoknows if true but if he doesn't want to be here then sack him off.

But once again could all be bollox.

Let's just get a decent guy in who wants to be here.

Course it would be. Managers would want the best facility possible to work with the players, allow the players good recovery sessions, attract players to the clubs etc.
Well it's what we have, it's been improved massively since the owners came in.

Lots more portacabins added I believe and the pitches are acceptable.

What else can we do, the new TG is about to happen.

If I’m reading the article right. We’ve interviewed MA and LR twice. We’ve just confirmed we haven’t offered LR the job but Matt says an appointment is imminent. Suggests only one thing….

That's only if you assume that MA and LR are the only two managers left for the club to decide between.
