Best Blackpool goal ever?

This must have been done before but I don't recall. What do you think is the best Blackpool goal ever scored? Regardless of the importance of it, or level it was at, just the best goal?

It's hard to remember stuff isn't it?! Especially on a Monday morning in June.

I'm dragging up:
Walsh GotS
Vardy v Wolves
The 26 pass goal by Dalglish under Macca
Sinclair at Stoke
A screamer by Simmo? Can't remember the detail.

Charlie v Cardiff
Wes v Oldham
Southern v Cheltenham - Only because he isn't left footed and about 900 people behind the goal screamed pass.
Robbie Williams v Yeovil
DJ v Forest with the interplay with Dobbie

Probably hundreds, maybe we could do a poll and break it down?

The best is probably Charlie's at Wembley, the importance, the distance etc...

My favourite is still Brett's in 2001 though, proper team goal, Hillsy overlapping like he's Sir Jimmy.

Oh wait though, like Kurt says, Wes' at the Ice Station was a thing of beauty and contained the greatest somersault collision ever from poor old Eardley.

My 3 choices

Peter Clarke back heel in front of the south

Mickey Mellon blast down the centre after the ref fell over trying to keep up

Luke Barney in Premiership against wolves big dipping shot from the left wing

I know you said regardless of importance, but Mortenson’s free kick at Wembley must be up there as one of the best goals ever. Such a powerful strike right into the top corner. Not sure two keepers would have kept it out.

On the film it looks likee free kick is taken quite a distance from the initial foul ?

Best I’ve seen live are probably

Charlie vs Cardiff
Charlie vs Blackburn
Varney v Wolves
Parker v Yeovil
Wellens half way like v Port Vale (think it was port vale anyway)

Kevin Phillips away at Cardiff. Correct positioning and the skill to bring the ball down.

Super Kev
A thing of beauty from one of England's greatest ever natural goalscorers. His mind was so far ahead of the rest in positioning himself for the volley.

Another goal that many would not have seen was Tricky Trev's goal at Brighton (Goldstone Ground) in a midweek game. I am sure that my mind is not playing tricks with me, but he scored straight from our kick off after conceding. He dribbled it from half way line / wide down the wing, cut inside and slotted home.

DJ vs Forest when he bent it in the far post. I remember a Danny Coid thunderbolt vs Wigan too.

Left field choice would be Paul Dickov away at Hull, another one where it would be raves about if it was in the prem, great skill.

Great Goal.
Great Video….looks like half the crowd were smoking and everyone but the Queen and the Players( not the cigarette😉) were wearing suits.

As for the standard of goalkeeping they made Richard Kingston look world class😁but then in those days that ball was probably felt like saving a brick and you could be flattened and kicked as all part of the game.

My vote for best goal is still Mickey Walsh v Sunderland

Alot of my favourite goals already been mentioned...Didn't Neil Danns score a screamer away to Oldham with his left foot?? Might have been an FA Cup game

Alan Suddick against Arsenal in the 3rd round cup replay. Glorious through ball from Billy, Billy, Billy, Billy Bentley and then he took it round Bob Wilson before popping it into the open net. Glorious.

Always the ghosts backheel. Never understood why Walshies goal got goal of season, wouldn’t even make a shortlist these days.
