It’s called being disrespectful.
By all means don’t support the monarchy but to boo during a minutes applause is just wrong.
Please enlighten us with the meaning of your post then.I'm not a tool and i haven't booed the monarchy
I switched on Five Live earlier to hear very loud booing. I didn't know what was going on until the whistle went and I twigged it was supposed to be a minutes silence.Find it right to boo during a minutes applause to HM.

I have no idea as I'm EnglishI said fool not tool.
Are the Welsh as bad as the Scots then when it comes to hating the monarchy?
Genuine question by the way.
I know your English it was a question because you live and work with the Welsh I thought you would have known them more?I have no idea as I'm English
My late father however was a proud Scot who was in the Armed Forces for 20 years and was as British as they come, fighting for his country and the Crown
So stop with the sly comments i was just asking a fcuking question

And for balance there are also hundreds of thousands who have served in the Armed ForcesYou are surprised by this? Read your history or at least watch Braveheart!
Scotland has been at war for it's independence with predominantly the English Monarchy for a few hundred years and have been "owned" since then. There are hundreds and thousands of Scots that would happily be rid of England and it's Royal family!
Exactly true. But a proportion booing is no surprise. Many see being part of the UK a continuous occupation of their lands. And for balance there are also hundreds of thousands who have served in the Armed Forces
Well twas, surprisingly , Ukraine who got the battering . Good game tooLet’s hope Ukraine batter them and they might be booing a good bit more by the end of the night.
I know all the history Mac and yes I know what went on.You are surprised by this? Read your history or at least watch Braveheart!

Thanks for making this point Macseasider as lots of people on this site seem ignorant of British history and English colonialism. It's not that the Scots 'hated' a 96 year old woman, they are booing the fact that she was the un-elected monarch of a country which wants its independence, financially, institutionally, legally, and culturally. Do Scots 'hate' the English, Welsh or Irish? Of course not and to suggest otherwise would be to reduce a centuries old desire for self-autonomy to a simplistic them and us argument. When Scotland, Wales and Ireland have full independence then the booing will stop, until then the complexity of the desire for independence will be reduced to the comfortable and simplistic one ("the Queen loved Scotland") we have seen on this site and elsewhere. You are surprised by this? Read your history or at least watch Braveheart!

You cheers on Green and Adam and in the same breath describe them in derogatory termsDoes independence mean we can send all the Sweaties back home?
If so I’m all for it.
