Yep, they used to separate kids from parents at the turnstile. I always hoped my dad would be there inside when I got through!
I went with my Dad in the South paddock (East side). However, whilst my dad entered the ground through the south (east corner) turnstile, I had to go in through a Scratching shed turnstile, just where the road goes round from Henry Street to Back Henry Street.

Any pics of the exterior of the ground including Bloomfield Road in the late 60s would be greatly appreciated, I'm specifically looking at what the advertising boarding would have look like, working on another painting ATM and want it to be spot on if poss 👍 Thanks in advance

How can Lincoln be over 30 years ago?

I saw King Billy on the pitch appealing to our fans a couple of times; one was at Hartlepool in the rain after a dire defeat and the other time was this nightmare.

I don’t remember Larry May ever playing for Blackpool, let alone being our record signing. I checked and he joined Brighton after he left Sheff Wed.
I think there was a youth team player in the mid 70's with the surname May who was a defender. Got a feeling he also played a few reserve games but never signed as a professional for Blackpool. Dunno his first name though.

Does anybody know the year this photo was taken?

I am struggling to identify our opponents from the strip they are wearing, if anybody can identify the opponents I could come up with the date. The season is 1966/67 and the date is between August 1966 and Feb 1967.
Not Leicester Southampton or Arsenal as he did not play in those home games. Looking at the pitch which seems not too worn and the fact he is wearing a long sleeve shirt not a short sleeve I would go for a before the end of the year match but not early season.. Plenty of fans on the Kop so probably not the Fulham match as they didn't bring many. Maybe late September v Man City.

There was a Jon May who played 4 League games as a defender for Blackpool in the 1978/79 season and shortly afterwards joined Exeter City.
