    1 Preston April 1970. Preston 0 Blackpool 3 2 Preston December 1972. Another 3 -0 to Pool. 3 Darlington 1985. 4- 0 Pool. Promotion confirmed. These games I attended. However the best Pool away performance I witnessed was the win against Forest in 2010.
