Talking about match day programmes I'm sure I remember in the late 80's/early 90's in the build up to Sunday's ITV The Big Match buying a magazine from the newsagents previewing that game with the actual match day programme inside the magazine. Anyone else remember this?
Me and my lad tend to get there early and it's the same playlist every game. Like others have said some are decent songs but a change would be nice. I'm sure Tony Parr was in charge of Radio Wave's playlist from back in the day!!
I think there's probably better and more popular retro shirts that they could've chosen but I suppose this was picked to tie in with the 100 years in Tangerine season. Good move overall by the club to dip into the retro market though and fingers crossed more to come in the future.
The awful ones that stick out to me are the ones where no effort or thought has been made. The U's Colchester and Oxford. The O's for Leyton Orient for example, how uninspired. A seemingly new one that grates on me is the Tics for Wigan. Reminds me of a rancid itchy dog!!! What ever happened to...
I would imagine it's a mutual decision by the clubs concerned and the EFL I assume would make a decision if in the unlikely scenario that the clubs disagree on a suitable date
The new date suits them more than us as they were due to play Peterborough on the Saturday before which is postponed because of the BSM final so they have a free weekend 🤬
