I mean if you were the one behind the post I'd understand because... well, it's you. But it wasn't. I wrote the post. And in good faith, I'm confirming that there was neither sarcasm nor condescendance in its nature. If you refuse to believe that, well, you can draw a horse to water.

Even  if it was sarcastic and condescending, the tipping of the hat remains valid and no-one, including yourself or the right, is being outrightly criticised as such. So, what's the real issue?

To be honest, it's said with sadness but it's genuine. The term woke is deemed broadly now as an insult. And I tip my hat off to right-wing influencers who've managed to make it so.

Chapeau = well done or bravo. Where's the condescendance please? Edit: who cares about whether some believe themselves more intelligent? The motivation should therefore be to set the standard by creating a calm space to discuss without resorting to insults (and french terms 😉).
