I was confident before a ball was kicked but that soon changed to being a little flat and disappointed. The odd performance has lifted my hope but I've never really felt confident.

I'm not one for giving it to a loan player, so on that basis it narrows it down to either Grimshaw or Casey. Given Grimshaw has played more, I'd sway towards him. I'd probably have Apter in 3rd place.

If they'd added a clause that says any top flight club who draw a side L1 or lower, the lower league side will be offered the choice of venue (home or away), would that have been a sweetener?

No issues with this away from home but I doubt it would go down quite as well if folk where in people's season ticket seats. 😂

No, I don't believe it has, I doubt Sadler would have sacked Critchley even if we'd had a poor/average end to the season. He'll be given another transfer window and pre season to turn us into contenders.
