Really pleased for Bromley - a proper club with 132 years of non-league history. I remember the owner being interviewed on BBC when we played there in the Cup and he was impressive. Good luck to them.
Can’t change system
Really boring
Incapable of game management
Tedious
Chooses the wrong players
Has the wrong coaches
Likes meaningless possession
Every game’s the same
Yawn
Thanks Matt. It’s been a horrible mediocre frustrating season but your blogs have been a consistent highlight. We are very lucky to have you to chronicle our ups and mostly downs. You are a fantastic writer.
Forest issue statement saying 3 penalty decisions went against them against Everton today - because the VAR official Stuart Atwell is a Luton fan. They say they tried to get him taken off the fixture - and “we are now considering our options”
I don’t think they have confirmed 1230. Nor have they confirmed that all the games will be broadcast simultaneously - presumably they’ll get more viewers if they are shown at different times.
It means loads more EFL games live on Sky - but many fewer Saturday 3pm kick offs (which are not allowed to be televised live in UK). They haven’t given details of scheduling yet but it probably means more Sat 1230/1730 kick offs and maybe more Friday night/Sunday games.
We were dreadful in Critchley’s first season before Dougall arrived. We’ve been pretty dreadful since he left.
He’ll be remembered for the Wembley goals but his (often unsung) contribution over the past few years was so important - and without him we’re hopeless.
