    You will always find a tier 2 and tier 3 area split by one road/street ,so it should be looked at per local council , as has been done in Essex . I’m sure they will have no more than 25 yards splitting tier 2 and 3 .

    Well well , they have said in parliament that certain places in Essex (Colchester, Harwich and others) will not go into tier 3 and remain in tier 2 . So I would expect that they would split Lancashire on a similar basis . If not I suggest there may be trouble !

    With the rates in Newham, Tower Hamlets , Ealing etc - this is a complete joke !! Its takes minutes on the tube to go from these boroughs into central London , whereas we are suffering due to high rates in East Lancashire , which is some 40 minutes travel distance away . Talk about levelling up...
