Lincoln City v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 10.04.21

Agreed their Subs tipped the balance, there was one point where Turton looked like he was running in treacle against one of them down the left. Maybe a learning point for Critch, could have possible packed the defence considering that’s all we’ve got on the bench.

I get the disappointment, but for me today was the toughest test we’ve had since Ipswich away. We more than did enough to win that game, but only within 70 minutes and I can’t level too much blame on the players for the last twenty minutes they just looked like they were running on empty. But...

Lincoln vs Blackpool: Three Word Game

Forget the Grand National this is the only three horse race in town. ‘Covid’ Outbreak Beneficial Look there’s no two ways about it, drawing after being 0-2 up is gutting. Lincoln played well throughout the game and are a strong team, we raised our game and bossed it up to about 70 minutes. I...

Blackpool vs Gillingham: Three Word Game

It doesn’t mate. 😂 I just try and ‘title’ it with something current, it’s hard when you have to do 40+of them so when a calendar event happens you have to use it. The rules are fast and loose, often with the amount of words so after than anything goes. 😂

    Sunderland concerns?

I’m not entirely sure myself but I’d lean towards them being able to. We recalled Shaw from Stockport today.

    Sunderland concerns?

Interesting point one of them makes. In a few weeks I wonder if they’ll pull Embo, as when they loaned him out to us in Jan, we weren’t looking like playoff contenders. Obviously he can’t play against them, but I can see their board recalling him. Could you imagine if he bagged the goal on the...

Blackpool v Gillingham Official Matchday Thread 05.04.21

Today was everything we were missing a couple of months ago, all with the same bunch of players really. That’s quality coaching. Kai Kai was fantastic today, his best moments coming centrally and just inside the box, something he’s been crying out for. He seems to thrive on confidence and...

Blackpool vs Gillingham: Three Word Game

A religious themed edition today. We Have Risen Ok, wow, that was outstanding to be honest. We’ve come so far from being crucified early in the season and we seem to have found that next gear from the purgatory we suffered up until recently. The whole squad were outstanding today. Is there...

    So who's fault is this?

I think you miss a lot of the nuance that goes with this conversation. The majority of us have said Critchley and the club needed time. I think a lot of us were right in pointing out major flaws in our season at different stages, I noticed NC and the club remedying them through the season...

    So who's fault is this?

Funny you mention that, I didn’t see the Carlisle game, but a did go to Tranmere a month or so later, on a Friday night for some reason. 2 zip loss but the fans were tremendous that night, we seemed to stay for ages after the whistle chanting, and of I remember correctly the players came back...

    So who's fault is this?

I think this is in reply to my post. All I can say it’s admirable that you were so positive throughout, there were many points where I couldn’t see us being any where near the position we currently occupy, and now I’d be disappointed if we don’t comfortably make the playoffs. But I’d have to...

    So who's fault is this?

Good thread this, a lot of interesting points raised. All I’m doing is repeating a lot of previous posts but the season to me can be broken down into three stages 1. September and October - let’s not rewrite history here, we were hopeless, disjointed and if that had carried on for a length of...
