I share the same birthday as Gordon Simmonite. Thursday of this week as it happens..... I woke up in the bed next to Derek Spence in Grimsby Hospital. he was carried off during the game with a busted leg. I got twatted in the bogs by some Grimsby Hoolies. UTP TMS

I've been to a few Euro games in recent seasons and the pre-match entertainment & catering is on another level. For example AGF Aarhus in Denmark had fans inside the ground, in a sort of fanzone, a full 3 hours before kick off. Food & beer was both reasonably priced & of an excellent quality...

If tonight's game doesn't convince Critch to be more positive in his team selection & team tactics then nothing will. Confidence should be high ahead of the weekend now.

Also seen GP live several times recently, Camden in London, O2 Shepherd Bush, O2 Newcastle, Oran Mor in Glasgow. Ace every time. Southside Johnny was also magic.

Best gig I saw at Lancaster Uni was Graham Parker & the Rumour circa 1978 or 79 Quality night including some decent action in the car park with a van full of Nobbers.

I was at the Jam's Setting Sons gig. Got backstage afterwards & still have my Harrington Jacket signed by Weller, Foxton & Buckler.

I was on that trip but was only in the 5th form at the time. Great Gig.
