In the grand scheme of things, I wouldn’t say Thompson is of a good enough level to challenge for L1 playoffs. Getting Coulson in to replace him was a decent bit of business. Agree on Lyons though.

Took a day to enjoy myself at Aintree instead of Carlisle today, I’m sure there’s been many summings-up of today on here, but in a concise way, how would the game/performance be described?

Think we need to hope for Wednesday to stay up. Think they’ll recognise his L1 quality and keep him if they’re here next season, but we’ll stand a much better chance if they’re in the Championship. I’m sure there will be a good few teams sniffing round him though.

That’s what I thought, also. Was very clear that Jerry and Critchley had good relations when he returned, before Jerry left of course. I’m no fan of Critchley’s, but I absolutely hate the bullshit people make up to try and back up their point of view. They can produce an argument without lying.

Done well with them but don’t think he’s the guy for us. Pete Wild/Michael Duff both much better shouts IMO. Unlikely shout - Liam Rosenior could be available soon, Hull fans don’t seem too pleased with him. Don’t see him falling to us mind.
