Fair point. He’s a cracking player. He’s close ball skill is off the scale. He’s able to pick the ball up with 2 or 3 players around him, go past from his own half and burst into the penalty area. Made up he’s back
Appleton is decent and did a good job at Lincoln. Rosenior was a baffling idea and could easily have been either great or get you relegated. Surely establishing Blackpool as a championship club is your priority. Appleton will do that as would Micky Mellon.
Incidentally Jackson was terrible as a No1. He was making 2 subs by the 25th minute and was sacked by Tranmere after 15 matches. Mellon and Jackson though are a very good lower league duo …it remains to be seen if they can do it in Championship but clearly Jackson’s stock is high given his...
