I walk the dog through Grange Park. Boundary school has greatly improved. Happy kids & as soon as the end of playtime whistle is blown they all line up impeccably like hitler youth 🤣. Parents are a grade up from Devonshire as well. Need more affordable housing so younger families take more pride...
Agree with most if not all that JJ states.
Remember the first time I saw a female drinking a pint (Swans in town).

The mum's (being polite there) that wait outside Devonshire...
Out of interest where was that Billy?
Got to know Keith through junior football & his missus Jennifer was a teacher at Hodgson when I was there. Always presumed they'd returned to the North East after his Blackpool career ended?
I worked in IT from late 80's on DSS/DWP contract at St Annes...
I went in there in 1979.
My RAF career lasted 6 days, never very good at taking orders.
Newton Arms was our local from 1979 onwards.
33p for a pint of mixed. 6 pints for a couple of quid midweek.
Just watched the extended highlights on TT.
Both benches doing the usual handshakes etc at the final whistle.
NC goes towards Collins to shake hands, moody sod blanks him & walks on to the pitch.
Critchley's face is a picture, all very how bloody dare you 🤣
Used to work with Chris Lowes tennis partner at Marton Institute plus played footie with Neil Tennants brother Phil. Virtually makes me the third band member 🤣
Our neighbours in the 70's, Jewish couple, had 5ft nettles covering the whole back garden & a ferocious alsation called Winston.
BFC left back Steve Harrison trained our junior football team & was friendly with our mum & dad (his wife Christine was my first crush 🥰).
Me & my brother were playing...
