Hope Sadler enjoyed it

What being the owner of a club is all about last night and good to see him featured.
I don't think he's had an easy 18 months and hopefully last night has reminded him of the benefits of owning the club.
Certainly the money from the cup should ease the finances as well for next year and help us kick on.

Last night gave us fans a big lift, the players too no doubt.

It'll have given SS a lift too I imagine (he's a fan afterall) to see the fans back at it, the team showing how good it can be on live TV etc.

I think it'll have given us all some pride and I think we all want to see that sort of thing again and more often.

So last night was really positive.

How much do they get.
Not sure on prize money but sold out Forest ground at an average of £10 probably brought in £100k for us, £40k ish from last nights attendees and is it around £200k for the home team on the telly? Prize money thrown in must be around 500k from the FA Cup. Hopefully soften the blow of the likely financial loss of this season.is it circa 3 Miliion drop from last season?

I'd guess at least £5m down turnover wise

We'll have cut out cloth accordingly to some degree, not sure what is player contracts etc. We have player sales like Yates and Bowler was in instalments, did we get another since?

We also have the cup games that'll have been a nice boost and we can still make more in one of them if we go all the way, could be a very nice amount.

We'll still be down of course but it could help mitigate some of it.

Tv ££ alone is -£8m from last season.

And a win v Forest cheered on by another 6,000 fans would have made him and all of us even happier

Commentator made a remark about how he named his company after the Celtic tribe that resided in the area that's now the fylde coast (Setantii/Segantii).

Never made that connection as I didn't realise Sadler was the founder of Segantii, just thought he was the CEO. Always assumed that was a coincidence as the tribe is more often labelled as the Setantii.

Nice bit of Sadler trivia, proves he's a proud Sangronian to name his company that. Seen that sort of thing questioned before about him.

Thought the ancient local tribe bit was to do with that unmentionable ex owner?
