Don’t want to be a miserable bugger

But I’ve just had a look at our remaining fixtures. I’m afraid it’s not happening too many 50/50 games. Yes we’ll win a few but we’ll also lose a few, only a couple of bankers. And to be honest much as I like the bloke it’s on the Critch this the size and quality of our squad should really be top two not in all likelihood coming up short for the play offs. The early season negativity away from home will do for us.

Thank you for your optimism after an away win making it three on the bounce.

You might want to consider these...

When we're due to play teams above and around us, it's surely got to be viewed as an opportunity rather than worrying about 50/50's. O/P is right about our shite away form in the 1st half of the season, but that's done so no point going over it again.

I said on another thread that the last 2/3 weeks has been our best form/results of the season, so we have to keep it up to get in the top 6 (stating the obvious i know) to April/May.

Critch just needs to take the "handbrake" off, we're not going down, so we've not really got much to lose, have we?

........but you are a miserable bugger. Especially after an away win against a team that have only lost at home just once all season and that is our third league win win on the bounce.
Remember the perfect 10 before you start making miserable predictions.

We've taken 21 points from the last 11 games now, which is 1.9 points per game. If we take 1.9 per game over the remaining 18 games we get to 79 points. And those 11 games included out 3 crap away games. We need a strong run in but we've got what it takes to achieve that, with Gabriel, Lavery, Joseph back in the picture and the midfield settling down.

Give over . You love being a miserable bugger and , truth be told, you excell at it.
Hardly any of the squad would still be here if you and TG had your miserable way and grumped them out the door before they'd hardly come through it .
Bees isn't technical or silky smooth, not the best we've ever had, far from the worst. Oh and he was scoring pretty often . Kouassi ? Jury out but that's what juries are for

Thank you for this, for every over the top reaction to winning we need a pessimistic post too to even out karma.

There is no such thing as a banker in this league.

The strength of a first-team evidences itself early on in the season. The strength of a squad shows itself over the duration.

I'm still quietly confident we will get play-offs and haven't completely ruled out automatic. We've closed bigger gaps in the past.
