He went for power in his shot rather than placement, when it hit the bar.

Infact Dembele often does it too, rather than place it he'll blast it and it means some of his shots can go quite high in the net, hit the bar or go over at times.

Rhodes is in poor form but when at it he just scores simple goals, often passing into the net.

Some of our players could learn from that.

That aside Joseph is looking massively improved and the energy, intelligence and pressing he brings is great.

If Coulson had blasted his shot it probably would have gone in. Same for Rhodes too. Another day we might have had 6. C'est la vie.

Maybe, but equallyor they jave placed it into the empty net...

As for blasted goals, they always look and feel better, but placing it us usually more reliable.

Harry Kane scored many of his goals that way, pass to the corner and it's a goal.

Introduce more power and you can lose accuracy more often.
 
I'm a Lavery fan but I thought Shane wasn't at his best today. They all work really hard up front though and results will come.
