The whole competition has been good so far . My son cant do SAT Afternoon because he is full on with our grandaughter so a mid week comp has been ideal for us. And he has enjoyed it. And some of our squad players get valuable game time. Bradford Blackpool Wycombe and Peterborough. two league 2 sides and two league one sides. just brings back memories of our LDV vans finals in the early Noughties. one game from Wembley which according to BBC Lancs will be mid April. WE can go all the way.
 
draw is friday at 18 15 . quarter past six . semi final week commencing February 19 . Final is April 7 Wembley Stadium. Who do we want and would playing away count. WE have been pretty good . Unbeaten and knocking out the cup holders.

3 league 1 sides & Bradford league 2.
 
ITS pretty obvious that this competition is not acttracting the supporters in any great numbers. But the football has made up for it in spades. good sides going at it toe to toe to get to Wembley. Accy were semi finalist last season. I was wiiling trhem to get through so They could enjoy ninety minutes of do or die footy in a final.

Much rather it be in Cardiff, as Wembley area is soulless, and a great place for weekend away

cardiff was the BEST stadium ever. there was the yates near by . went in before one final and it was ram jam full of cambridge fans just a better stadia al round better view as well . three times in four years . And we never lost once.
 
Hope we can win this competition but I won’t be going all the way to Wembley to watch it. More concerned about the league TBH & I’d rather hoped we could have done automatic for once, but that’s highly unlikely as the playoffs will be tough enough to achieve. Don’t know if I’d bother with Wembley again should we manage that, but could be open to persuasion on that one.
