It was fantastic, I was only 11 when it started but soon got into it with my schoolmates. Unfortunately I missed all the early gigs that the older kids went to so I always felt I’d missed out and wished I’d been 2 to 3 years older.

I was 18 in late summer 1976. Perfect age - a student with a little cash and not quite a fully formed adult. 1-2-3-4!
