I dare you !! I dare you to come out and say we played well and dominated at times

Peterborough have done to us what you THINK we do to teams week in week out

Your team has no fire in its belly. We, the fans, dreamed of Wembley !! You just plod along thinking you're doing a good job, tonight YOUR players, playing YOUR tactics at times.coukdnt even pass to.their own team mates

The fire has gone and I personally blame YOU

Your tactics and perseverance with this style, playing players not performing time and time again. The slow build up that amounts to nothing have, in my opinion drained this team.

I'm astounded the team have not had their own personal pride, but alas not

We don't want much, but we want to be entertained and put in effort

Tonight I was embarrassed I had mates watching at their houses

I'll put my dummy back in, turn off the TV, head to bed and hope next season is better
 
Tonight shows why we won’t go up. To a man, apart from Marv. They were far superior. The team is not good enough not by a long way. I will repeat myself the team that Critchley had first time round with Simms Ballard Yates and Stewart were far superior to this lot and couldn’t go up automatic. Just not good enough simple as.

It’s a total borefest.

I never thought I’d be saying Blackpool are a boring team, but that is what we are. It is anything but entertaining.

The Posh players were skill full and comfortable on the ball, quick, stronger, broke forward with ease at times and played as a team.

We look disjointed, play anything but flowing football, play long balls, one paced, unable to control basic balls, or complete easy 10 yard passes, it’s huff and puff turgid football where the system looks a complete shambles.

I’ve lost faith in Crutchless now, I’ve been trying to keep giving him the benefit after so many poor performances, but he isn’t learning or changing anything. Rinse n repeat. Time to go I’m afraid, we need a fresh face with fresh entertaining tactics.
 
To get within one win of Wembley and put in a team and performance like that is unforgivable that was our last hope of any success to think your going to hold it tight until 60/70 minutes then throw on the attacking players is naive they won the game in the first half we are so boring and predictable, formation, tactics, subs, teams love playing against us they know exactly what to expect. I’m all for having a system but not one that passes all the way back then across the back line to hoof then repeat. I personally can’t watch anymore of it I think I’m out till Neil’s gone

Agree.
Our recruitment over the past two years has been poor.
Does anybody go and actually watch the players we bring in.
 
We have more football related staff than we have ever had. What do they actually do when Critchley says they have regular meetings ?
That Coulson looks a good player.
We need a push for the play offs, I think we should sign a couple of kids for the future, cos the Development Squad is working really well. Look how many we've signed that have made it to the first team squad.
Update please on Zac Emerson - who ?
Uodate please on Owen Mofffatt - who ?
Update on Doug Tharme - I'm sure he's gone somewher
Update o Rob Apter - Pulling up trees for Tranmere, but i'm sure there are Southampton players we can better develop.

The annoying thing is we all know we have the players that there is no need for a slow build up.
The reason that they amount to nothing is we don't have the skills to play that style of football.
In fairness Posh kept the ball brilliantly in their own half when they needed to - not sure why they have struggled as much as they have of late?
 
Probably because not all teams will have let them play so easily with the ball and without any fire in their bellies

I'm sorry but this is the main problem at Blackpool FC, not Critchley, the players or the owner.

Our fans wildly over-reacting to every defeat and poor performance and spouting this crap. Posh were ace, we started poorly and never turned up. It happens.

So we get this bile where a respected coach who no doubt gets about 5 hours kip per night cos he is working his arse off to make us successful is accused of 'plodding along' with his 'fire gone'. The players our nothing short of 'embarrassing' etc.

Do you not have a brain Ockers? Do you not stop to think before you post this shyte? We were dreadful vs Posh, that bit is correct, but somehow this bunch of losers and our Manager who really couldn't give a flying fuck and just swings by the club 'when he can be arsed' won at Posh and just beat Bolton convincingly. Oh and have taken 18 points from their last 9 games, don't let a few facts get in the way of your ranting whatever you do.

What has happened to our fans? Serious question. We are 8th, underperformed a tad in the league so far and reached a semi final. I just don't understand the lack of perspective from some, it's like the love for our fellow man has gone down the toilet and some just want to tell the world how upset and offended they are whilst questioning the commitmentand and integrity of people they have never ** met or even seen doing their job. I despair.

I think Critchley was spot on today when he talked about modern society and how some people want everything yesterday.

I assume he read some of the ridiculous comments on this thread!

Today aside, the main problem has been fans struggling to relate to what is doing. It's clear the formation constantly fails away from home and he sticks with it. I am fine with him having belief in what he is trying to do but it's naturally going to create criticism. Fans of any other club would be the same. I think the fans could accept progress being made but there have been zero signs.

Yes it was a great win today but overall it's been a very poor season. I wish people would also stop quoting getting into the semi final of a piss pot cup as some kind of achievement. It has no bearing whatsoever.

We are now in a very similar situation where we have given ourselves a chance. We usually don't take these opportunities so let's see if Tuesday is any different.

I think we need to realise that many AVFTT posters don't actually understand football. They're full of hot air.
Yes we're not doing as well as some would like. But we don't have Appleton, or McCarthy.
Yes, we're winning more games than we've done in a long time, and we've had a few outstanding results, but many fans expect us to be playing like Brazil every week.
Yes our away form needs to change if we're going to reach the playoffs, and we definitely need to improve our defending.
Better than last year? Definitely.
Let's manage our expectations. That's probably asking too much as well tbh.
