He finally switched to a 442 this season, albeit too late in the game and we will probably never see it again
It was before that. When he brought CJ on we went 442
Yep. Pretty sure it was the whole of second half. I was thinking why is Virtue right wing.It was before that.
It looked like it was when cj came on as he was waving his arms and giving instructions like a lost dogIt was before that.
Tactically inept!Yep. Pretty sure it was the whole of second half. I was thinking why is Virtue right wing.
Rob Apter can play on the wing very well, but as your user name 'critch knows.'Virtue wasnt right wing but it went back to how it was at the start of the season when we were playing a flat 3 in midfield. Norburn in the middle on his own and Virtue and Morgan just too wide. Midfield were exposed and we couldnt get on the ball. I dont really disagree with how he set up cos we beat them at their place playing the same way but it didnt work and we got a spanking.
Yeh when CJ came on we went 442 but straight away they got a pen so that was that really.
Im not sure how Critch turns this around other than to fcuk off 352 for a 442 or 4231 and just throw caution to the wind. Swimming against the tide of the fans never works and the fans in general have never wanted 352. Im just not sure we really have the best players to be playing wingers anymore. Dembele and CJ are the only ones we have got.
Thats all well and good but neither of them are here at the moment. Besides if Owen Dale was the answer then we are in even more trouble than i thoughtRob Apter can play on the wing very well, but as your user name 'critch knows.'
I think the name is becoming increasingly ironic.
Forgot to add so can Owen Dale.
I can not remember Owen Dale ever playing like Coulson., even though he should have been on the right.Thats all well and good but neither of them are here at the moment. Besides if Owen Dale was the answer then we are in even more trouble than i thought
i dunno, i can remember some absolute stinkers from Dale playing on the wing. Thats why he was shipped out to Portsmouth. i dont disagree about Coulson but like i said if we want to go up then we need much better than Owen DaleI can not remember Owen Dale ever playing like Coulson., even though he should have been on the right.
