His adherence to playing 5 across the back has cost us massively this season.
When Lyons went off, with no other defenders on the bench (aside from Husband who I presume isn't fit), why not go to 4 at the back rather than sticking a square block in a round hole in bringing Virtue on at right back.
Aside from that, in an absolute must win game we have endured another 90 minutes without creating a single decent chance.
Please Simon, just get rid as soon as possible.
