Couldn’t believe the fact so many genuinely thought we were back on track on Saturday. We could have been 4-0 behind at one point but took advantage of their sloppy defence.
The idea this squad had any chance of getting promoted this season has been ludicrous since about October when it was clear the manager not the players were up to it.
As a club, last season’s relegation has set us back years and I do fear when we could be back. We have a lot of players now on our books for next season who are quite simply not good enough.

We dont have an identity, its all compress and force an error the creativity in the team come from 20yr old Dembele, Morgan offers something but
nothing else in the squad who can take the ball forward and create. Just look at Peterborough the players they have who can pass and move. We are a million miles away playing a system that does'nt control and inspire players to play there natural game.

You’ve only got to look at some of the score predictions for tonight’s game must be over 80% predicting a win for us.

What are these posters seeing in this team that I’m not why so many are tipping us for an away win when we’re so shite away from home? 🤷‍♂️
Posters deranged as Critch post match.

I don't think we're a million miles away......a strong, dominant LCH and a mobile, creative midfield player. I just don't know why we change the team after such a resounding win. Lyons and Gabriel are two of the best wing-backs in Lg1 but as soon as we find a winning formation CJ and Connolly are brought back in. It's insane and totally inexplicable why we would not play the team that started against Bolton with Lyons replacing Coulson.

We lost the game in midfield tonight. Apart from the first 10 minutes when Bees and KJ were winning headers, after that we just hoofed it forward all night, lost the headers to their centre backs and never got the second ball in midfield. They overran it and outnumbered us there and picked up the ball from every header. We didn't adjust, we didn't change and we never looked like making a decent chance, never mind scoring.

I think the atmosphere and the fact it was Notlob were huge contributors in the feel good after Saturday (and of course scoring 4 goals helps).
Dodgy sending off, a bit of luck (which even Critchley conceded) and a pen helped us where so many times this season we've lacked that!
