Following on from CGP1's lovely offer of a lift to the game today I was thinking if it would be worth having a sticky for each game, like the Match Day thread for people who are driving to a game, home or away (This would include exiles then) so it could increase support, make it cheaper as costs can be shared and it also makes the journey more pleasant as you have others to chat with.

Why not can't do no harm.

Filling cars for away games is better to cut down on journey's, I'd like more to travel by coach or train.
I took two yesterday who would have normally gone by club coach but they decided not to put one on.
Bonkers.

Great shout!!

A few seasons ago, I asked if anyone was going from where I lived at the time up to Blackpool. A bloke responded (I'll keep this vague) and wanted to be there 4 hours before the match and after the match (which he didn't tell me!) had some things to do in Blackpool which kept us there another 2 hours! He was also the dullest man in the world, drove at 60mph and had Smooth Radio on. We lost 1-0 and I will put it down as one of the most tedious days of my life. Get the train - it's a lot less painful!!

I travel down to most home Saturday and midweek games.
I could, probably, offer space for the midweek games as I travel on my own.

Weekend trips are too complex to involve “third parties”.
Mrs NFF would probably object 😂
We tend to drive down on Friday, come back Saturday after the match … we need to get back to feed the cat 🤷

BST discussed this idea recently and originally came to the conclusion that we may be inviting trouble for people - whether safeguarding or people not turning up.

However, when we discussed it again we thought at some point in the future we may incorporate something into the website that allows people to contact each other, if they are registered users.

Please note this is at best a good few months away.

I do get that and did think about it, suppose it's the worst;d we live in today, can't say I like it though.

Mind you I have seen the pictures of Lala smashing up a box of cornflakes......... Yes, she's a cereal killer!
