No interest other than they’ve certainly picked up after looking dead and buried at Christmas. Wonder how they’ll fare next season should they stay up and continue improving

I watched the game last night. They have got some handy players now. Ash Hunter, former Fleetwood player. Adam Ormerod, 17 years old, released by Blackpool scoring goals in the National League. I wonder what the story was there

Pardon my ignorance, but any relation to Brett?

Funnily enough I heard him mentioned on Lancs commentary on Tuesday but they didn't make any reference to Brett who works with them and so presume not. Looking on line his sons are called Dylan and Riley.

Watched fylde a few times this season when blackpool have been away and enjoyed every time seen 17 goals the last 3 times I've been, always guaranteed to see an entertaining game regardless of result they play a very open game score a lot and let in a few haha.

Good value tickets too £20 seating or standing is £12 in the new stand behind the goal or £16 standing in the opposite side to the main seating stand.

Cheers.

Hunter i saw from Fleetwood and had a look at Ormerod - there’s potential there, definitely.

What years Zico? I tried and failed to appear for NX reserves on a few occasions. Mainly towards the end of the time that seemingly the whole team came from AAu in Block 2.

Looking back, I was a dreadful footballer.

On and off - first match was vs Leyland Motors away 1997 but was at uni so didn't play much. Played sporadically through the 00's depending on the manager. They always had about 100 signed on so some years, they would be trying new players and I didn't bother. Think my last season might have been around 2009/2010 or thereabouts. They had a vets team for a couple of seasons after that.

Ah ok. I was the mid late 80s

AFC and Fleetwood's whole setup is something to be enviable of. Both put our's to shame.
I think hand on heart that’s why we have a constant campaign on here of haters of both Fleetwood and Fylde’s set ups as both are punching above their weights.

Still when we get our brand new multi million pound footballing set up on Garstang road up and running it’s going to be so different. 🫣🤥

In case anyone hasn't seen this, the relegation fight in the National League this season is monumental. 14 clubs are separated by 7 points. Fylde have been on an amazing unbeaten run but are still only four points from the drop zone. If they had lost at York in midweek that would be just one point. No club in the bottom half of the league is safe.

Once again someone has to have a sly dig at Critch! Never fails.
Dig, yes. Sly,no.

This man came with a reputation of developing the youth at Liverpool.

What actual success has he had similarly at the Pool?

Any potential like Apter is farmed out, when with the personnel we have could fit in here.

It’s also blindingly obvious that quite a few agree with me.

Why do all the usual suspects turn up to defend Kirkham and Codwood. Hmmmmmm
Why do the usual suspects show up to slag them off? Hmmmmmmm.

I’ve not see many posts from these suspects saying well done Fleetwood for holding Stevenage to a draw yesterday and with 10 men as well?

Maybe so called Blackpool fans didn’t know that?

Heard today Dog Food Dave (never been fond of that nickname) is buying up quite a few properties in Cartmell. A pub, the Rose & Crown, then closed it. Not going down well so I've heard, hence why I was asked about him. The questions referred to Fylde RUFC and the person knew no more, but when I mentioned Tangerine Holdings it seems there are quite a few vans with that logo milling around up there.

No idea of the motives and I'm sure he's doing no wrong in the unlikely case what I heard is true and he has the best interests of all the residents there at heart.

Actually seen him driving through Flookburgh myself, which is on route to one, or more, of his alleged purchases.

Set up and ran the vets team for the first few years :)
