Anyone watched TTV on a train?

Getting the 7pm from Euston tonight and had fairly decent train wifi on the way down for e-mails etc but has anyone tried Train wi-fi for TTV - not going to buy it if it just keeps buffering?

From their website,

"To ensure everyone on our trains gets a good quality connection we do control individual download speeds, which is currently 2MBs. In stations, there is no limit. There are a limited number of websites blocked, these are generally ones that are either inappropriate or data-intensive (such as video streaming or large files) to try and ensure everyone on the train can get a good quality WiFi connection."

I would think you will struggle going off that.

Nuts really when you consider I watched Blackpool vs Oxford on TTV on a flight to America a few months ago and it didn't buffer once!

Don’t bother wasting the time and money if you’re doing the West Coast main line. The wifi is crap and the signal is garbage which rules out thethering from your phone.

It’s not worth the frustration of trying to stream something on that route.

Decided not to buy for all the reasons above - delayed around rugby for 45 mins - got in to Manchester by full time having spent the most torturous journey refreshing Twitter!!

I have to watch TTV on my iPad.
I have all sorts of problems getting a genuine full screen and even the slight touch freezes the action and if I get back in I am then joining at the point it freezes which would be ok but then the match centre will occasionally pop up with a post which is ahead on my action on the screen which is not great especially if a goal is scored well before I get to see it.
But last night was really bad so I had to log out and back in several times just to get back to the live stream and even then it is always several seconds behind hence I knew Gabriel hadn’t scored because the match centre posted final whistle 1 0 Blackpool🫣

The odd thing, well to me,is the radio Lancashire commentary is still in sync with my pictures and not ahead of them😂on TTV not the radio.

Worst train journey I ever had was travelling up to Newcastle the day we played Liverpool away in the Prem. Lost service and any internet for about the last 20 minutes of the game. Think the whole carriage thought I was weird as I was stood on my seat arm in the air trying to get any sort of signal!!

We watched that game loosely speaking on the worst stream I’ve ever come across. It finally packed up 30 seconds from the end as Liverpool were attacking & we had to ring someone to find out if we’d held out.
Same season I was decorating the bathroom with the radio on & a terrible stream in our bedroom. As it was so far behind each time we scored I could nip in & watch (just about) on my laptop. Was the Wigan game 0-4

i thought I watched the Northampton game at home, however with the amount of black screen and buffering I think I must have been on a train with loads of tunnels!😲.

Wasn’t going anyway because of NAPM and so I was on the Danube on a pleasure cruise half watching a dodgy feed of our play off win under Bowyer!
