Huge Weekend in the Old 3rd Division.

Gunna be watching on TTV down ere… absolutely buzzing for it.
Just thinking the other day how my first season watching the mighty was in the old 3rd division. We had Ritchie Wellens and beat Leyton Orient in the playoff final. Ormergod, big murph and Simmo. Great memories beating Scunthorpe 6-0 and Torquay 5-0 sitting on the wall behind the goal in the south paddock.
 
Today isn't actually a must win really. We've done the hard yards in the last few games and we're playing Wigan away. Nothing is over if we lose today and I hope that rubs off on the fans and we turn up to enjoy it.

Must win in a sense. We lose and other teams with around us, we fall back. We get the 3 points & we stay amongst it. All games are must win at this stage imo.

The games are crucial but if we win one and lose one. It isn't over is it? So it isn't must win. A must win means that something is on the line.

We have 8 games and are 1 point away from the play offs.

May first match was the 1951/52 season and got a full Blackpool kit from Stan Mortenson’s shop in Church Street next to the Winter Gardens. There was nothing on my shirt in those days!!

Steve Evans FC vs Orient (hopefully a game Richie Wellens and his side can do us a favour. But both sides need the points to remain in contention)
