Pathetic football

The style of football is utter dross.

We tried to pass it along the back, missing all chances to progress and be positive and then would launch it most the time, that was in the first half in particular.

2nd half we had the ball more, a little more intent to pass it but absolutely no cutting edge.

That was not the performance of a team good enough to go up, it was pathetic.

Another gutless display when the fans turn up in bigger numbers.

No pace in the strikes that started, no goals in the ones that finished.

Just really poor, there's not much point getting in the playoffs as we just aren't good enough. Launching balls upto Beesley to flick on is shite.

Surely this has to be put firmly at the feet of Critchley, he's had some much time but all we seem to play is a tame safe version of ineffective football. Norburn again is captain back pass, hardly ever any intent to even look forward.

Nowhere near good enough, again.

Promotion, when thats the best we can do, you're having a laugh.

NC and the players were getting pelters at the end, he just clapped, reminded me a little of our last visit, when Appleton got pelters there, although obviously it's not as dire a situation and no chant against.

But it made me think, a lot of people never wanted him back, fans were looking forward to him coming with a struggling QPR so he could get pelters, who we ended up battering, but as always seems to happen they get potted just before.

OK it's not the same situation as Appleton but people are losing patience, a couple of scrappy wins before this kept us in it, but we're not playing good football at all.

I have great respect for him for everything that he has done for us and the club except for him bringing this idiot back and now persisting with him
what’s he done for the club, you mean he is better than the oystons, apart from that it’s same as,football is worse though.Only my opinion.

That’s why I didn’t go you turnip. 🙄

Thing is we probably wouldn't mind so much and be more forgiving if the football was entertaining, it's been shit even when we win it's been shit, it's not fun. I don't mind losing (Occassionall) but please entertain us ......

Boring boring Blackpool ...

A win at Derby and we're back in the mix - It's the hope that kills you !

Been like it for most of the season. The last few weeks gave us a bit of hope I suppose
Mosser our team is simply not good enough firstly lathery could not trap a bag of sand Joseph does not seem up to it kouasi ant good enough and Beesley is a headless chicken so where do you think the goals are going to come from.Personaly we need a big clear out and including in that clear out is Critch must go as well with Dumb and Dumber I rest my case enough is enough and Sadler you read this board on a regular basis as you well know please get your head out of your are and please get shut of the present Managment team as he ant got a clue.

Totally agree re Critchley 👍🏼 Maybe a different manager will get better performances out of the players

You want to drop any ITK names in then?
There will be somebody to come along and buy the club if it comes available.Ive heard one of your cronies Lythem Kev,knows someone interested .Did you know sadler was going to be the new owner after oystons,no I don’t think you did.Its all about opinions,I respect yours and others,so please don’t be rude because you don’t like my posts.

You still haven’t named anyone?

Football by numbers, it's boring and stifles the players own creativity. They're like programmed robots. Bring Ollie back for the rest of the season, let's give it a go.

You can't be serious..they knocked it about well..if their lad at the back becomes available we should sign him and their winger who looked great prospects
Agree, I thought they played well, better organised, everyone of them comfortable on the ball and they have what we don’t, players that can take people on.

Critchley's bad tactics can be attributed to the lack of pressure he is under, given Sadler's guarantee that he will remain in his position. This sense of security leads to complacency in Critchley's decision-making processes, resulting in subpar or ineffective strategies being implemented on the field. Without the urgency to perform at a high level or face potential consequences, Critchley may not feel the need to be as meticulous or innovative in his approach to coaching. As a result, the team's performance and overall results suffer due to this lack of accountability and challenge from upper management.

Yes I knew about Simon before most
I say Mosser what happened to the chant on the terraces Simon Sadler is one of your own and our dream owner some thing tells me that he is now turning out to be not our dream owner.I say as a club if we are not careful and Sadler does not do the right thing and sack the Headmaster we are going to find our selves in a world of trouble as a club in league1 because I can see us staying in this league for a few seasons what are your thoughts.

They played that well that Grimshaw made no saves at all and they had one shot on target.

We didn't play well, but they were worse.

My thoughts are pretty obvious, get rid of the snake now
