BFC Backroom Staff …

The backroom staff or coaching staff constitute the backbone of a successful team.

Are our backroom staff providing the backbone we need - I ask as I genuinely don’t know ?

Do we know much about Garrity + Brunskill - their strengths and weaknesses - the value they bring to the set up ?

There seems to be an impression amongst fans that Calderwood and McCaul were vital to the teams success.

I enjoyed David Downes’ interview when he joined the club … sounded really promising… but haven’t seen or heard anything from him since then ?

Would like to know more …. 🤷‍♂️

Good OP Rox. The club has been on radio silence since the fans expressed their views on the Appleton appointment at which point SS spat his dummy out. One things for sure the club, fans, management and players are not as united as they should be.

Garrity and Brunskill offer very little in terms of in game decision making.

It’s been said time and again that Critch needs a proper number 2 alongside him. A devil on his shoulder who will challenge him to switch things up. This has been a major issue all season.

The problem is they seem to be 3 of 1 the same.
Not one of them seems to come up with anything to change a game by subs or formation, we just plod on with a tactic that they have worked on all week thinking it will nullify the opponent. They are just there to assist Crichley in what he’s trying to do and probably don’t question much. I’m sure Crichley appreciates it but it’s like we need someone like Bowyer or Thompson with a fresh set of eyes to make the necessary tweaks.

We're Garrity and Brunskill his "yes" boys @ QPR?
If so, why on earth employ them after that shambles ?
Obviously Critchley is a very stubborn person and isn't open to criticism in any shape.
Best just sack dumb and dumber to free up extra money

It was very obvious on Saturday that whilst the back room staff and Shaun Maloney were all "up and down" in the technical area, presumably exchanging ideas/thoughts etc. ....Critchley was left stood on his own with his own thoughts for 90+ minutes.....he either needs help or he's too stubborn to ask for it.

Yes they were and Garrity also worked with him at Liverpool. It’s a jobs for the boys club.
