That's surprising. Makes you think though that maybe there's a 'hangover' from relegation, and the damage to confidence from losing every week takes longer to get over. I've thought that about Carey for example, the hit to his confidence last season must've been significant. I know many dont rate him, but he had some good performances in the first season in the championship and looked a promising player.

Only 3 points off 6th place now and played the same number of games so still all to play for

Maybe you need to be clearer then because your original point was about why we think we should be top 6 and I just gave you the exact answer.

Bookies. Other Fans. Owner. Manager. Players. All state they think we should be top 6.

So hardly unfair for Blackpool fans to be disappointed with the season.

I honestly thought we should have been challenging for automatic. Playoffs minimum. The only doubt was the strike force.

For me, the most disappointing aspect of this season is the way we've almost never managed to change the course of a game.
