Armageddon

The RAC are predicting Armageddon for travel this weekend, whether by air, rail or road, due to Easter being early and coinciding with many schools breaking up today as well. 14 million extra on the roads being predicted.

I’m travelling back to the Gold Coast from Ascot tomorrow, so planning to be off before 5am, but still expecting to hit traffic.

Those going to Derby might want to set off early.

Can’t see it myself.

I think the motoring organisations the AA and RAC always seem to put the fear of God into people during the holiday periods.

Traditional Easter weather cold, wet, windy with some sunshine so I think most people will be staying at home this weekend and waiting for the weather to improve.

It’s been the wettest February on record and the way March is ending that wont be too far behind either.

So basically this bank holiday is going to be just like every other bank holiday. I'm working anyway so I hope everyone has a miserable time and get crap Easter eggs.

Makes sense for them to put a doom laden message out there, means less on the road if people believe them and less break downs to deal with.
It's the only message they will put out on a bank holiday!!
