A very impressive young man, way too many don't have a plan B and fritter their money. He'd make even more money if he offered a service talking to other young players at big clubs and the importance of looking past football.
 
It's actually really difficult to look at yourself and say I failed. Very easy to blame everyone else. Fair play to him.

83M is not enough to own a "wannabe" Championship club these days unfortunately.

READ that. Dont remember him to be fair but yes what a great example. my son runs his own mortgage consultancy. He was written off by the same s...te school i went to. the same old bollocks . five years being told that you were there because you were not good enough.😡😡

Unless you behave badly or act like a fool, I genuinely have never known a school to have that attitude towards a kid.

Sorry BFC but back in the day I taught history at a school in Blackburn. I taught a 5th year bottom band class and wanted to enter them for CSE History, and the head of history told me not to bother as "they weren't worth it". And he was by no means the only teacher in that school with that attitude.
